Haan this I’ll accept and something I said in my initial posts too.
The shock value has become basically nothing because the track has been stretched to the max. By the time the bhoomipravesh happens, you are like arre ab khatam bhi karo yeh. The sheer grief is lost somewhere between the impatience of actually waiting for the moment . Grief is strong when you aren’t aware of what’s happening or it all happens within a short period. Bubble gum ki tarah keechenge toh na shock rehta hai, na grief.
My point was simply that he’s allowed to feel emotional & break down. Dialogues may feel filmy because it’s a show. Thoda about dramatic nahi honge toh show kaise chalega. At least they aren’t using the dhoom tanana bg music Ik we expect them to uphold the sanctity of the epic but to them it’s yet another show. Don’t think they put in *that* much thought tbh.
