Anokhi is being portrayed in the couple of last episodes with minimum makeup, making her look very cute, college student like and innocent. I like this look of Anokhi. Her interaction with Aastha after her incident with Shaurya showed how innocent she is despite sometimes behaving in such mature fashion. The way she wanted to stay and look after Aastha.

I was expecting her to question Aastha about why she hid this info of Shaan and Shaurya from her. She has always been shown as direct.Maybe because Aastha was her mentor she hesitates.

The way the brats denigrated Anokhi shows their disdain for people not from their circle. These girls needed a lesson in life to put them on the right track and appreciate people for who they are irrespective of their background.

Second takkar of Shakhi. Anokhi removing noodles from Shaurya looked like she is looking after a kid, though she looked soooooo cute looking at Shaurya. As usual the flustered Shaurya initially lost his voice with so much attention from Anokhi, his enemy.

We move to Sabherwal mansion.

Who do Tej and Alok take themselves for?

Maharajahs? The way they ignored Gaytri and Kanchan as if they were lower beings not even worth their contempt.

Devi is so good at acting as if she is innocent in this matter.

One question that intrigues.me. Why is Devi so hellbent in getting Shaan divorced? What is she afraid of? Shaan looked shattered whilst Shaurya intrigued by the latter's decision.

Well he did want his father to cut ties with Aastha, so he should be happy.

However such types of happiness are hollow as it is forced and Shaurya must be asking himself why he is not ecstatic as expected.

That intrigues me as well. She never hesitated to question Shaurya about anything, nor does she hesitate to berate him. But, I do find it odd that she never questioned Aastha once. Thoughout the show. Here m, in this instance at least I guess it’s coz of the situation. Aastha being in the hospital and just recovering. And also the maybe the shock of discovering about it.

The way the brats denigrated Anokhi shows their disdain for people not from their circle. These girls needed a lesson in life to put them on the right track and appreciate people for who they are irrespective of their background.

It’s sad that they never learnt it throughout the show. I wanted to see at least their dynamics with Anokhi change gradually after marriage, but sadly we never got that.

Second takkar of Shakhi. Anokhi removing noodles from Shaurya looked like she is looking after a kid, though she looked soooooo cute looking at Shaurya. As usual the flustered Shaurya initially lost his voice with so much attention from Anokhi, his enemy.

Shaurya is always flustered around her. Especially when they are not fighting or arguing. N when she is being nice to him. He loses his stern professor attitude and becomes a fumbling teenager. It’s cute.

They should have proudly left the Sab mansion and kicked these people to the curb. 🙄🙄

Till Shaan and Aastha divorce, there is always a chance of Aastha coming back home. There is always a tie between them. Once they divorce, all ties will be cut. That’s what Devi thinks. Coz she has never really understood the bond Shaan and Aastha share. For her, it’s only about Shaurya. Separating Shaurya from Aastha and anyone who can bring him close to Aastha. Devi is the single most selfish person, who never thought beyond her own needs. She never thought about Shaan or even Shaurya whom she claims to love. Her sole purpose and identity is being Shaurya’s mother. That’s all. She doesn’t care how many lives and livelihoods she sacrifices for it.

Well he did want his father to cut ties with Aastha, so he should be happy.

However such types of happiness are hollow as it is forced and Shaurya must be asking himself why he is not ecstatic as expected.

I think when it comes to divorce between Shastha, Shaurya is like a petulant child, who wanted his father to prove that he loves him more than his wife, who left both of them. I don’t think he ever actually wanted them to divorce. Him asking him to divorce her, is more of a cry for attention. He never expected it to happen in reality. So when it is happening, he is not sure how to react. For, he never admitted even to himself that, it’s not what he wanted.

The bottom line is, the only thing Shaurya ever wanted was his parents love and attention. When he never got it growing up, he turned hard and bitter. Even when he pushed them both away, he always did yearn for them only.
Our boy is complicated like that.

Long time indeed. You are spot on with the analysis concerning Shaurya and his response to the divorce matter.

I can repeat these episodes again specially the way the Shaurya Anokhi is slowly changing and their awareness of each other. Hayyyyy...

Jo tera howega, zaroor ayega

The plate of noodles had to be dumped on shaurya's head, maybe the universe though to kick his a** a little for his petty behavior!

Anyway now onto the episode...

Why did Anokhi hesitate to ask aastha about shaurya? I think maybe she did not want to cause her anymore pain in the moment by discussing that. Aastha was already physically weak and Shaurya emotionally broke her and Anokhi has enough maturity to understand not to tease the topic so soon. I did not understand, how would knowing that Shaurya is Aastha's son change Anokhi's mind of joining SIAC? Yes, she might look at shaurya in a biased light, but it should have no impact on her joining SIAC.

I loved that Anokhi choose to support herself and started work in the canteen.Their mother is being thrown out of the house and kitty - bebo are busy doing petty sh**! Really? What were they even looking down upon? A girl working in college canteen, shows how much of Devi's mindset is in everyone. To trouble and treat her so badly reflects more on their sh***y upbringing.

the noodles scene was too funny. KV's scream acting is weird 🤣. But what followed suit was weirder. She brushed the noodles, took his hand and ensured he was not burning and was it just the camera angles or was she standing a little too close while removing the noodles from the glasses (when the camera was panned on their faces). HOW DID NO STUDENT NOTICE? Shaurya and Anokhi themselves did not notice that they again majorly breached decorum and were extremely comfortable in each other's physical space. Infact when she was taking care of his hand is when Shauray stared noticing where they were and who was around and pulled back. They just get pulled to each other

I skimmed over the Saberwal houses scenes because too much toxicity. I liked that Kanchan is more confident of herself and would rather leave then beg but Gayatri has no support. Shaan was right, Devi and he should be punished as they too met Aastha but only Shaan gets punished. Devi manipulates the entire scenario to lead to the divorce. WHAT EVEN? Shaurya is not happy. Not in my opinion. Because his father refused to divorce his mother, he had a relationship of hate and resentment with her. He at least had a reason to fight with her. IF this goes through, he will have nothing left of Aastha and he does not want that.

Shaurya's desperating to stop Gayatri and Kanchan from leaving also reflects in his want of a stable family. Its again the kid speaking :(

Lavs!! 🤗🤗 so good to see you !
Lovely review by both of you. There are so many questions left unanswered , makes me feel like wanting more.
We didnt get to see if Anokhi questioned Aastha about why she hid about Shaurya.

Saakk has a unique storyline with such great potential to explore, I wish it gets a reboot sooner or later.

So we get the reason why Astha didn’t reveal the truth about Ss and Shaan to Anokhi. It seems convincing given Anokhi’s regard and reverence for Astha.

The Sabh sisters… they can never leave any opportunity to look down upon Anokhi or trouble her. They have no fear of being reprimanded given they are rightful Sabherwal daughters and given a free pass every time their wrong doings come to the fore front. It was a good move by Anokhi to patiently put up with their behaviour( which is actually wrong, but situation demanded) as she knew she needed the job desperately and couldn’t jeopardise the chance because of the sisters who clearly had no good intentions.

The noodles falling on Ss kind of felt funny especially his scream. Anokhi had no hesitancy to move closer and clear up the noodles on him but quickly felt his presence which was written all over her face. However for Ss he was more conscious of the surroundings and then the usual banter. May be he didn’t encounter a situation where a student worked and so looked surprised. The sisters are their usual self :experts in worsening a situation. Why did Pammi Aunty not express her doubt when Ss was there but she did after he left? Was she scared to judge them in front of ss or May be had he stayed a bit longer the ugly truth would’ve been revealed?

The Sabherwal house is a bunch of obnoxious people treating G and K as if they were puppets who have no feelings and play to their whims. This is utterly disgraceful in this age and date. Ss has my ❤️ for this scene. His concern was genuine and was shocked that Tej really meant his words. Bm what a manipulative person she is. She very convincingly made Astha once again the culprit to reason with Tej regarding his decision. Tej obviously had no choice after her cogent argument. The good news that Shaan broke about his divorce left Ss puzzled rather than happy. Why? Did he join the dots so quickly or was it out of his concern looking at his dad’s sullen face and blood red eyes which were drowned in misery?

I have a hard time finding empathy for Aastha. Maybe it's the façade she puts out to the world of being a strong woman who can handle it all. I enjoy her when she interacts with Anokhi. She's so open to her. She tells Anokhi how she has compartmentalized her past relationships, to the point where she stopped saying she had a son. She was also trying to make sure her past did not affect Anokhi's decisions. Unfortunately this is exactly what happened once Anokhi learned the truth. She turned into Aastha ma'am's loyal guard!

Thanks to Pammi aunty rehiring Anokhi and the brattiness of the twins, we get the noodle scene!! The scene has been meme-fied by the fandom so many times. I was dying laughing the first time I saw it. Then they played the ShaKhi song and something has changed...some awareness creeps up. It's just an awareness of how close they are. Breaking the moment, I love when he hands over the noodles in his hair at the end. But he turns mean when he says "tum kuch jaan booch ke nahi karthi ho, tumse to bas ho jaata hai". Why is he so mean to her?

I hate the way Tej and Alok sit back and are allowing Gayatri and Kanchan to walk out. Shaan tries to stop them but will have to kowtow to Devi's conditions. I feel so bad for Gayatri, not having a place in her maayka or her sasuraal. She's in the no win situation. I'm so glad Shaurya is affected. He seemed so agitated at the thought of his family breaking up. I hate that Devi plays hero! I hate that Shaurya never really finds out about the blackmail for divorce. Khalid did such a great job in the scene where Shaan announces the divorce....his voice breaks at the right time!! Shaurya looked shocked. Wasn't he the one asking his father to choose between him and "that woman"?

Side note:

~ The scene where Anokhi walks around and begs Pammi aunty for her job is done so well. Not just in content but also the way it shows the actors/characters moving around. I'm not a fan of stagnant shots where it's just close ups. I like movement in the scenes

~ The twins comments about work is so messed up. Their family works to run the college and these girls go there for free and they're not embarrassed about that?

Same for me. The first time round I had not watched from the beginning so did not know how Shaurya was treated after his mother left, so could not understand him. Now with the rewatch when we are not carried away by expectations, I find the main culprits are Shaastha.

Ir does not sit well with me. No matter what the Sabherwals did you cannot abandon your child to them. She replaced him with Anokhi...

But that was more like her decision with respect to joining SIAC or not. Even before knowing, Anokhi was like a fierce guard for Aastha. Remember the lecture she gave Shaurya in Gurdaspur.

The Shakhi song actually heightens the chemistry...

That was funny indeed. But his shout was funnier.

He is embarrassed come on..

Tej OK is not directly linked but Alok has no feelings for his wife and dil.smiley29

total crass attitude.

Coming from a broken family he must be reliving the pain.

It enraged me as if she was doing them a favour.

There are so many loose ends to tie...

Top scene indeed, like he is living it.

There is a difference between choosing and breaking ties completely. He just wanted all the attention of his dad and not have anything to do with her. In his heart he wished for the happy family he had when he was four.

I remember KV also mentioning that aspect some time back in an interview and we see that same movement when he and Kanchan were talking after his kidnapping night.

They look down in disdain to those doing menial jobs. Directors, professors are another category.

Shastha really were the culprits and were forgiven too easily! And the audacity of Aastha to replace her son....😡

I forgot about his shout also was meme-fied too. I loved that scene for how funny it was but the song really did heighten the chemistry of the scene.

I remember that interview where KV said that. That Kanchan and Shaurya conversation is one of favorites for the way it was directed and spliced together with the Reema and Anokhi conversation.
