Although it is hard to justify Shastriji's hurried decision. One wonders WHAT ELSE
anyone in his position can do?

Minty hates Anu so much that she goes out of her way to insult Anu, hurt and
embarass her even though Anu is no longer seeking to marry her son.
Minty should have nothing to do with Anu any more. But
Minty's hatred is so twisted -she wants to rub salt into wounds and make it all as
painful as possible for everyone. Clearly, Mr Sareen , Rajat and Neel are unable
to control Minty's behaviour. This being the situation, What Father would want his daughter
to move into such a woman's home and family?
Also, the Sareen men don't address the problem of Minty's verbal vitriol.
Instead they go after Anu and her father asking them to consent to Rajat-Anu marriage.
What should shastri ji infer. That the Sareen men want Anu to put up with Minty's
behaviour? For life?
