Hi Everyone,
Commenting here for the first time.
Although I am not following this ( or any other serial) consistently , I am posting
to congratulate the makers of this show š. They have done something different.
They have actually shown the father of a girl react with some self-respect and pride .
Shastri ji, if I am not wrong, had tolerated a lot of deception, lies and arrogance
from Rajat's mother. But he drew a line after some point.
Similarly, Anu took a lot of mistrust and harshness from Rajat's mother as well as
from Rajat. However she has to consider the fact that her father suffered
a heart attack because of Rajat's mother's jealous fury. And this only a few days
after her 'marriage' . Also, she has to think of her 2
younger sisters for whom her father is the only surviving parent.
As for the sareen family, they are far more secure.
All minty had to do was a fake suicide attempt and all the men were quiet
and let her carry on as normal. I am so glad that they did not show another sick drama
with a nasty saas bad mouthing her daugher-in-law while a 'helpless' husband who 'loves'
her expects her to put up with this.
Neither are they showing a sickening set of girl's relatives who have
every reason t o think that their girl will be mistreated by her saas but still join
their hands respectfully and give away their girl- As though
this woman's son is an irreplaceable rarity and their girl is worth
nothing. Such shows send out a very bad message. Well done Shastri sisters! š
