Ohk don't take me wrong anyone but I want to know that "Has Society Changed Even A Little Bit ????"
Till date our country has produced , directed , shown so many movies and shows which focuses on creating social awareness Or which focuses on creating a good human within us BUT has it really made a difference in our society ???
We have so many shows which were high with TRP's at some point of time and these shows were based on educating peoples like Balika Vadhu , Tammana , Udaan , Shakti and many more . But inspite of showing not to practise child marriages (Balika Vadhu) , inspite of showing not to keep children as bonded labourers and snatch away their innocence (Udaan) , inspite of showing that a woman can bring lots of happiness and prosperity if given a chance (Tammana) , inspite of showing that even TG and other vulnerable groups are children of god and are humans (Shakti) - these discrimination's and evil deed are still practised and those who practises such evil deeds have also watched these shows . So has people changed their mindset ???
There have been many regional and bollywood movies like Pink , Sairat , Rang De Basanti , Oh My God , Gabbar Is Back , Swades etc etc which was made with a sole purpose of educating people but has it brought any difference in our society or has it even changed a little bit of their mindset ???
Lots of movies have shown to treat women's equal , not to kill girl child , no caste or race is bigger than humanity , to respect women's and other genders , to raise voice against any injustice etc ect BUT has these things been practised ?? And mind you that we are not in 90s era . We are in 2000s where even a poor person has a TV and they watch all such awareness creating shows and movies . BUT Our society is still not keen to welcome girl child , still people don't file rape cases bcz its about their honour in so called society , still untouchability or any such offence is practised and there are other things also that is happening .

Although I'm a very optimistic person and even if 1% change has been brought by these movies or shows in mindset and society , then I'm happy . YET I have hardly found any difference these shows or movies have made on people or society .
The general view that I have noticed is that people will talk with others or in groups or may gossip about such shows and movies that "wow that movie had such a nice message or such movies are an eye opener for our society blah blah blah" and then next instant they behave the same way like they have been behaving before watching that particular show or movie i.e - IGNORANT .. I'll give you a real example - Once when this movie had released "3 Idiots" then most of the parents had watched this movie and felt that they should ask their children that what they want to become . In my locality my mom had a friend and that aunty has also watched that movie along with her family . That aunty's family were so amazed with that movie . Next year their daughter wanted to do commerce but her parents forced her to do MBBS and then she unwillingly took Biology as her subject . So our society's memory is either like Ghajni where they keep those social messages in head only while watching the show/movie OR they don't even take those awareness/educating points from the shows or movies .
We all must be knowing that people always learn bad habits within a minute if its shown in a show or movie like stalking , eve teasing , acid attack etc BUT when it comes to learn good things people will just talk that the particular movie or show was nice with good messages BUT will never adopt those good habits .
So I want to know from you guys that all these educating classes that is happening in Shakti . Is it bringing in SOME change within people ?? Even if that change is 1% ???
P.S - Don't take me wrong people . I always believe that even if such shows or movies bring 0.05% change then its a good thing . But those 0.05% cannot do all things alone . People at large number with large percentage are required to change things at every level ...
