I sighed as I got ready for college. Another boring day with a over sensitive sister and over bearing mother. Atleast this is better than staying at home learning everything thing from mom. In my childhood I always wanted to go to school but mom told me that I am too intelligent to go to school. At that time my childhood naivety made me believe it. But now I understand it as my moms paranoid protectivity. She still has it but she toned it down . Thanks to nani who convinced mom to let me attend college. Or else I would be doing my degree in private too. Ofcourse Surbhi did throw a tantrum when she came to know of it, lucky girl she is ... what won't I give to be in her shoes but that girl wants to be in my shoes... here comes devil "Di come fast we need to go to temple on our way. Come na" I can't help but follow my dragging sister leaving a small apologetic glance at mom.
We went to a near by market to get flowers for god, where surbhi rushed to see some bangles. I rolled my eyes at her " god knows why she is such a beauty freak."
I went to the flower stall to get flowers, the vendor there is really a nice woman . Happy for getting extra flowers from her, I am returning to where Surbhi is when some bike came crashing into me. I lost my balance while trying to side step from bike, I thought I will also face the fate of the flower basket which is already on ground. But then I felt arms of some one around me, arms which felt as protective as that of moms but feeling much more intimate. I opened my eyes to look at the person who protected me. Its a guy , he has such intense eyes ! I feel like I might get lost in them. Then he startled me by saying I look beautiful. No one said that to me apart from mom. Hearing that from some one new made me feel strange and I fainted . Suddenly the day became different from any other day in my life.
