Ring ceremony of Jogi and Jassi. Dhruv and Rajbeer are standing by the side. Dhruv retorts that one ring went and another came in its place but what about the insult Preeto ji had to face despite being innocent. He asks Rajbeer what does he think about the matter. Whether,could Preeto do such a thing. Rajbeer remembers the events of the past days-when Preeto asks whether she could pack some jalebis for Sonu and when she stopped him from telling the truth to Jassi's family on the terrace. Dhruv breaks his thoughts and asks his opinion again. So Rajbeer says he doesn't know. Its difficult to understand her or any girl for that matter. Just then Jogi comes there. They wish him and Dhruv tells that whatever happened with Preeto wasn't nice and she definitely is not guilty. Jogi replies that he knows that but cannot do anything as the elders take all decisions at home and the others cannot butt in.
The sisters and beeji are watching tv. Preeto is massaging beeji's legs. Beend banoonga ghodi chadoonga(the show on Imagine) is on and Sonu comments about the plight of the heroine who wants to study medicine,just like herself,after marriage and her in-laws are against it. Meeta tells her not to worry coz they will marry her off only after she finishes her studies. Just then the doorbell rings and Preeto goes to open it. Its her father. He is surprised to see her home so soon and asks about her work. She says they'll talk about it after dinner. The family at the dinner table and masterji is praising Meeta's cooking. Bani notices that Preeto isn't eating properly and asks her the reason. Even beeji asks. Preeto just replies that she is tired and just wants to sleep. Ishu takes her side and asks her to go to bed.
Bani is talking to some man on Preeto's phone. She says that she cant give him money but has something else which he can sell and gain money. But the man demands cash and cuts the call. Bani is shown holding the ring and pondering about selling it.
The next day, Preeto and her dad are at the dining table when someone comes at the door. Beeji opens it. A Pooja, who says herself to be appointed in place of Preeto by Geeta aunty, asks for Preeto. Preeto comes and drags her in. She gives her some bags and sends her off. When beeji asks, she says that the girl is in charge of decoration and is an assistant and had come to take some bags which she brought home by mistake. Bani leaves for college. Preeto takes her phone to call Geeta aunty when she notices the number last dialed from her phone. Confused, she calls that number. The man receives and tells her that he wants cash itself and not anything else. When Preeto asks who it is, he cuts the call. She wonders who must have called this number last night. And thinks that only Bani could have used it. She rushes out with her bag. She catches sight of Bani walking and follows her through a market. Bani meets the man and is talking to him. Preeto sees all this and just then, due to some distraction she loses sight of Bani. While she is searching her, she meets Dhruv. He is sorry about the past day's events but Preeto cuts him off saying that if he was really sorry,why was he standing dumb when everything happened. Saying so, she leaves.
Bani is at a jeweller's shop trying to sell the ring. She thinks that she'll repay the money and keep a small amount for herself. But when the jeweler offers her 60000rs, she gets tensed seeing so much of money and asks the ring back. He tries to bargain but when she refuses, asks whether it's a stolen one. She says its her mom's but he says its gents'. She somehow gets away from him with the ring and the jeweler becomes sure it's a stolen one. He calls someone.
Bani is at her doorstep when she senses someone behind her. It turns out to be the man whom she was talking to about the money. She asks him what he is doing there and tries to take him away. But he stops her and tells something which is muted to the viewers.
At Jassi's house, her mom is giving the paycheck to Geeta aunty. Geeta aunty says that its less by 1 lakh. So Jassi's mom says it's the compensation for the loss of the ring worth 2 lakhs as she was the one who had brought Preeto there. The ladies are having a tiff about the matter and dadaji too gets involved. Hearing about Preeto, the lady who had insulted her comes forward and says they should have complained about the matter to police. Rajbeer, Dhruv and Jogi hear all this. When Dhruv tries to interfere, Jogi stops him saying that this is Jassi's family matter and they cant do anything in it. At the same time, he feels its not right for them to blame Preeto. Dhruv tells about his meeting Preeto at the market. Rajbeer asks about her and he replies that she wasn't the same. And he is sure that she cannot steal the ring and is innocent. Rajbeer says that if she's innocent then even police cannot do anything to her.
