CHAPTER 17
Next morning. Sid and Roli woke up at different times and without paying much attention to each other looked after their individual works. Roli had peeped in to the kitchen, but Sujatha was sweet enough to ask her to concentrate on her studies and told her that she and servants would manage the works. Alls eh asked was to prepare a cup of tea for all because it was her first day at home. Roli happily accepted it and prepared coffee for all. She arranged it on the dining table where Sid, Jhanvi, and Rajendhar were already present. Sid smirked at her victoriously as Roli handed over the tea cup to Sid. All had the tea including Sujatha and they all praised Roli's culinary skills. But for Sid his expression was changing. The salty tea was making a vomiting sensation in him. "What the hell? This tea is salty..." said Sid angrily. Roli smirked but hided it and made an innocent face. "See Ma...he always blames me...Yesterday too he said that I destroyed his life..." said she. Sid was more than shocked. He was to say something when Sujatha stopped him and glared at him. "Siddhant...don't make such lame excuse...the tea is so good...we're all drinking it...And now say sorry to Roli and finish the tea...now..." ordered Sujatha. Sid tried to explain but all in vain. "Sorry..." he said angrily whilst Roli smiled gloriously and raised her collars when only his eyes was on her. Sid was like, he'll burn her to ashes now, but Roli didn't care. She wanted to defeat him. The worst part for Sid was drinking that disgusting salty tea that his wife had specially prepared for him. Somehow he drank it and rushed to washroom. Roli too got in, in the pretense of passing him towel. Sid was repairing his tongue whose taste buds was almost fused tasting such an odd dish. Roli went near him and smiled. "How was the tea?" she asked mockingly. Sid was way too tempered that he got angry and he instantly pinned her to the wall. He leaned on her dangerously closed and there was just an inch gap between their lips. But strangely, Sid and Roli were lost for a moment in each other's eyes. They stared on every detail of each other's face as if there is no tomorrow. That was when Jhanvi entered the washroom. Sid's and Roli's pasted up bodies and he turning against her covering her face made Jhanvi mistake that they were kissing." "Oh..." a loud moan escaped her mouth and that bought Sid and Roli out of the trance. Sid instantly left Roli and tuned towards Jhanvi. Jhanvi was all red with embarrassment. "I'm sorry bhabhi...i didn't know you..." she rushed out in embarrassment. Sid understood what Jhanvi might have thought and glared t Roli. "You..." said him. Roli too could sense the happenings. "What you? what did I do? It's all your fault..." said Roli. Outside Sujatha and Rajendhar was puzzled seeing Jhanvi rushing out of the washroom. On asking Jhanvi said the secret in Sujatha's ears making her blush as well. She passed the fact to her husband whom enquired the matter. They were all smiling teasingly when rosid came out of the washroom. Sid and Roli could understand what happened. So with their heads put down, they headed upstairs making sure that the other doesn't see their flushed expression,.
After breakfast, Sid dressed up himself for college and came down. As Sid reached down, Roli was still midway the stairs. Sujatha was surprised to see the newlyweds rushing out at the very first day of marriage. "Areyy...Roli beta ...Siddhant...Where are you both going this early?" asked her confused. "Of course, college ma...Where else can I go in this hour?" said Sid. Sujatha was really surprised with this. "College? Siddhant ...I think you've forgotten that you are married yesterday only? How can you go out to college today?" she asked as a matter of fact. Sid rubbed his forehead in exasperation. "Ma...Marriage happened yesterday...It's over...that doesn't mean I'll sit here and cherish those memories...if you're that much interested, you better keep your daughter in law at home...It's completely okay..." Roli heard Sid and that definitely boosted her anger. She too reached down soon. "Ma...if he can't miss college, how can I? You know he only roams outside during study hours, but me...I'm studying ma...Please let me go..." requested Roli. Sujatha gave Siddhant a look hen Roli told her that he's roaming in college hours. Sid looked at Roli angrily. "Ma please..." Roli pleaded. "Okay...then you both go...but go together on bike...Let those people who spoke against you see you today and understand you're married...That is the best ever solution..." said Sujatha making RoSid stare at each other.
