The episode starts with Indira and Nirjhara preparing garland for pooja. Dushyanth enters into the scene & immediately irks seeing Indira & kicks flower basket. The needle pricks in his toe & he shouts in pain. Dadaji taunts that if someone tries to destroy other's house, their house itself will destroy. Bhaskar quickly takes Dushynath to room.
Nirjhara, while applying medicine on Dushyanth's toe, says he didn't let Indira play with children in childhood & forced her to be Goddess, now he doesn't accept her as daughter even. He kicks her shouting to go and bring paper and stamp from dressing table and asks her to apply finger print on paper. She asks what's this for. He says these are divorce papers & says after divorcing him, she can go and start politics with Saro. She begs not to divorce her. He says she has defamed him often with Saro so it's her punishment. Nirjhara cries saying she can do anything as redemption. Dushynath starts his first test by keeping a watermelon on her head & shooting. Nirjhara bears all nervously. He then says it's just beginning, many tests will come next.
Somini gets romantic in their room. Somu applies sindoor on saro's forehead & says his wife is the most beautiful in the world. Saro blushes..they continue their sweet romance.
Daadi with Indira carries lamp to light it on garbage and tells Indira its significance.
Sapna gets tired after cleaning whole house. She & Bhaskar throw thrushes the garbage in cattle shed. She says that she doesn't know what will Dushyanth do next.
Dushyanth drags Nirjhara into cattle shed. Daadi asks what is he doing. He says he will light lamp on Nirjhara's head instead of garbage as her punishment. He forces her to hold lamp on her head.
Somini continue their happy romance when Indira rushes in to inform that dushynath is punishing Nirjhara. They both run into cattle shed & are shocked to see Nirjhara holding the lamp on her head. Saro tries to remove it, but she asks her to stop as she doesn't want to get divorce & asks Somu to take saro from there, else she'll burn her hands on lamp. Saro pleads Somu to do something. He walks to his mother.

Precap: Somu is seen to confront Dushyanth that his mother sacrificed all her life for him & children so she has equal right on this house. Saro says women are just a means of charity for Dushynath, he takes charity of bahu and biwi & gives charity of beti and behen. Dushyanth proudly says yes. Nirjhara chides Saro for interfering between her and her husband.
