The episode starts with family busy preparing for the engagement in a happy mood. VC wants tea and he shares a cute moment with his wife Gun in the kitchen. Danny is listening and enjoying their cute talk about their "jawaani" and he teases them.
Kussum is back from bazaar and Danny in the mood for romance starts teasing her. Saras sees them and is amused. Saras is not still himself after that nightmare. He still looks gloomy. He comes looking for kumud and learns she has gone to school. He sees her going in an auto with a car coming at full speed from the other direction. He is freaked out because the auto was to have an accident. He runs to her. Kumud is surprised to see him. He tells her off for not informing him and insists of taking her to school.
At home the preparation is going on in a joyous atmosphere. Anoushka and Kabir are back and have already selected their rings. Saras and Kumud are also back and Saras looks freaked out regarding Kumud's safety. Dugbaa notices his state and comes to talk to him. He tells her about his apprehensions and fears due to the nightmare. She asks him to have faith in God. Nothing wrong will happen.
Some decoration people are here but the family is confused because the decorations are done. Anoushka says it is her doing. She has a surprised for Saras and Kumud and asks the men to get to work.
Saras notices that Anoushka is tensed. He follows her and listens to her phone conversation. She is telling somebody that everything is being done as per instructed. Saras is now tensed. He wants to know what the surprise is. He moves to a red curtain but is stopped by Anoushka telling him not to spoil her surprise. VC and Kumud agree too. He goes away.
The engagement time is here! Anoushka is nowhere to be seen and Danny is teasing Kabir. Kumud is there with Anoushka.

Anoushka is telling everybody she wants Kumud to pull off the curtain for the surprise before the engagement but Saras proposes that she does it as it is her BIG DAY!!
