I just want her to face vc now. And guniyal. Ofcourse saras has to come in front of her. See how she throws the tantrums only on kumud and danny. Time for saras to face her and give her the pasting that she deserves. He explained danny today. Looks like Danny understood him.

I don't really care much about that complicated relationship of saras n kumud at this point. More interested to see how danny handles this n what saras says to kusum.

Now Danny is her kismet and she needs to give it a chance. Even if it was by deceit. She needs to get that kismet dialogues right in her face. Btw so far she didn't questions anti, saras Haan. Wah. He cheated her. And no one explicitly tell her that he is not interested in her. Because that pea sized brain can't receive it. What more does he need to do to show kusum n also kumud that he can't do this.
I wish saras kusum showdown comes soon like tomorrow.

Now coming to kumud. She says he couldn't make a samjhauta. He has to make samjhauta with values, morals, love, relationships, brother n life? Yuck.

Saras is getting more right in my eyes now. Mohan's rishta broke. Things needed to be fixed fast. Uss waqt ek ek kar ke sab ko confidence mein lega kya. Aur wo bhi inn pagalon ko.

Aur Danny Kam pagal nahin hai. He put saras in a spot by harping on marrying kusum. Sneaked into the haveli shamelessly and saras had to come. Danny ko uss pagalpan mein convince karna almost naamumkin thaa. He wasn't ready to believe even today.

Ek ek karke sab ko confidence mein lena? No way. Each of them is a maaahir. kumud, kusum n danny. In creating trouble and in not trying to understand what he would he have been trying to say.

Viewers' reaction is bringing an interesting comparison and parallels. How the Saras-Kusum marriage fails the ethics, and readers' summary rejection thereof- Greatest touchstone a work can have. This fall-out is also witnessed on characters' standings in the ending. In book, all the important characters fall from their great evolution/development at this juncture. Both parents, including brilliant 'Guniyal' fail the wont- in permitting this marriage. Kusum, less so initially, for resisting, but invariably falling in its eventual acceptance. Kumud, though forced, also fails on a level of justice. For enforcing a loveless marriage on her sister. For the dialogues we are witnessing here on Saras- 'I would have never been able to make her conjugal happy'- are representation of actual aftermath as described in the book. He and Kusum are perusing ascetic life! And still, Saraswtichandra fails there as 'hero' of the tale. Esp. vis. Kumud. But look at the direct reverse here. Saras rises as greater hero in its refusal. And Kumud sinks an insensitive errant in its insistence. Base fabric of the story is simply not permitting it. Readers' reaction/rejection is the greatest indictment and verdict.

You are right smrth.. Maybe if I had read the book I would have been more upset that Saras than Kumud.. But the way things are playing out in the show, they are in a way glorifying Saras and justifying the title of the show- he is the one standing tall against all odds, even Kumud. Kumd had done a wonderful job in fighting back Pramad after the fire incident but she lost her way once she came back to her family.. Her fierce love and protectiveness, duty towards her family, whatever you choose to call it, clouds her judgement all the time.. When Saras is repeatedly putting forth the incident of his mother committing suicide because of a loveless marriage she was stuck in, which literally changed the whole course of his life..even Kumud had to deal with the aftermath of that incident in a way, when Saras rejected her..how can she shrug it off so casually.. ??!!! How can she not trust the guy if he says that he can never love Kusum the way she deserves to be loved.. Even if I ignore the fact that they are ''soulmates'' who know each other's pulse, can she imagine herself making an attempt to fall in love with Danny, had he made this kind of a bizarre demand, that he wants to marry Kumud?

I do not think Saras made a mistake in not telling about the last minute swap to anyone.. Yes he should have told Danny..! Knowing this mad family, Kumud and company would have never approved of this anyway and Kusum would have found a knife again.. That girl has set new standards today.. How insensitive she was towards Danny when she yelled at him and said that she doesn't love him, but loves his brother instead.. So the morpank landing in Danny's hand is a coincidence and rest are all ''dosti ki nishani'' but Kumud getting stuck with Pramad is her kismat.. Bravo! How I wish Danny had hit her square across the face.. What if he had grabbed a knife and slit his wrist ? Can we expect the Desai's to reprimand Kusum in that case , who is mollycoddled all the time for no reason.. Again, this whole mess has only one solution - Saras talking to Kusum, but looks like they are not gonna make it happen anytime soon or maybe Saras is scared to confront that pschyco..
