I have couple of questions...why did Pramad go to town? What work did he have? Is Kanika the only one in his life? Or is he beyond repair? Another thing was the food...just by the look of it, Saras mentioned that it was spicy and hence not for him and hence never ate it. What if it was really what he likes, but not spicy. It was just the appearance that made the bharm(illusion) that it was spicy. Did he give up before he tried it? Or Is it just illusion that Kumud who thought of him being hungry, since she saw him get up from table w.o eating, she cld not be that insensitive that she will pack only spicy food...I have a feeling that Saras mistook it to be spicy and thought that food was not meant for him...indirectly meaning that Kumud was not him? I am not sure, if I am over analyzing that seen...but he has given away a big clue to Pramad...but will he be able to catch it ? Again your analysis of Saras being real Kanha giving guidance to Pramad was beautiful...but will Pramad be able to become Parth(Arjun of Mahabharat) or will be duryodhan? Only time will tell...

Just read your post. Loved those lines about the dignity of Saraswatichandra. For me, most impactfully, that dignity shined through when Pramad landed one on him and he did not retaliate. That dignity also shines through whenever he upholds Kumud's 'kasam'... Come what may. Even when they drag you through the mud, it does not change what is in your blood. Here's to Saraswatichandra. This is still his tale... And the reason he ain't budging is because no man can walk out on his own story👏

The conversations were all around Pramad's drinking habit and the person who shared it for him was Kalika. Now if Pramad leaves his drinks and Kalika he becomes good but if he opts for both of them against Kumud, he can never be reformed. Now the balance swings on both sides, Kalika trying to expose Navin & Kumud and Saras and Kumud trying to reform Pramad.

2) Navin-Pramad scene

Navin -- Mere baare mein bathane layak kuch nahi hai

Pramad - Matlab sab chupane layak hai

Navin - "Abh tho chupane layak bhi kuch nahi hai"

This highlighted Navin for me yesterday. He doesn't talk anything, doesn't have anyone to travel with him so how will his life go on ? His life is full of deception, just like his name. There is no truth in his existence as Navin, he actually doesn't have any existence now. Now his life is for Kumud and his promises made to make her life easier.

"Rishton se dar lagtha hai mujhe. Loved someone dearly, hurt her and hurt myself ". Saras surfaced at that moment. As Navin he didn't have anything to talk about but as Saras he had lots of emotions, hurt pressed inside.

And the poignant scene was his change of expression when Pramad said "Saraswathichandra". That is the only name which would bring him back alive. Through out their conversation after that he was Saras. Anger, hurt and frustration were running high. Sorry, I think I just went out of way but Iviji I want him to get out as SC not Navin. He needs to get his life back as Saras.

Now if Pramad reforms will we get Saras back ? I don't think so, so there is not much hope for Pramad reformation unless the new PH wants to create a new history and make Saras a martyr.

The first time being when he came before Kumud. For all he knew here he was starting a new life as Navin but Ivy if I dare re fumble back Shakespeare 'what's in a name. A rose by any other name would still smell just as sweet' that's exactly how Navin-Saras is!

It's not abt the name! Changing his name to Navin will not mean his astitva will die. In a sense kumud describing Saras to Kumud was a way an awakening of Saras. This is who he is and a name change will never mean a clean slate for saras. Whatever his name is...he will always remain saraswati's son! The woman who was selfless just like Saras is.

He hasn't changed suddenly cos of Navin. He was always like this. selfless. Just that due to circumstances certain parts of his personality was buried deep within him. Just as now with his love for Kumud and his loneliness.
