Veera ji, you kept your promise 🤗 Lovely to see you contributing in CB again 😳
Just read your post. Loved those lines about the dignity of Saraswatichandra. For me, most impactfully, that dignity shined through when Pramad landed one on him and he did not retaliate. That dignity also shines through whenever he upholds Kumud's 'kasam'... Come what may. Even when they drag you through the mud, it does not change what is in your blood. Here's to Saraswatichandra. This is still his tale... And the reason he ain't budging is because no man can walk out on his own story 👏
A promise is a promise! 🤗 You had me write my word in stone... mujhe apni naak nahin katwaani thi 🤣
I'm kidding, I'm kidding... I really missed this place. 🥺 It's so nice to be back 😳 😳
Awww yes, I'm glad you agree! (so sorry for the rambling in that wala post... 😆) How someone can get punched in the face, and still hold their dignity, I don't even know. But Gautam Rode and Saraswatichandra did it 👏 Although Aanshul Trivedi had many, many commendable moments today as a sharaabi, suspicious pati... This scene just blew me off my seat (in shock mostly... I mean, a punch in the face??) And I must say that Saras kept his dignity through and through.. whether it was while he was being poked and prodded by Pramad, or realizing the khaana wasn't exactly for him (no theeka stuff!)
No man can indeed, ever walk out of his own story, what a well said line! 👏 👏 👏 But one thing I must say is that all the poking and prodding and suffering Saras' going through... it's completely over the top compared to a vast majority of the qualifying heros of Joseph Campbell's "Hero With a Million Faces." If this is the "inner cave" step of self-discovery Saras is supposed to be going through, I request there be more discovery through other dimensions from being a punching bag for everyone else... Indeed, it's very different, but it's not so convincing (and actually quite an impact on the hearts of the weak like me 😕)
