Partly agree. His recent mistake is a huge one. Having huge fallout. But his 'so called first mistake' was not even a mistake. But because madam usse dekhe Bina dil de baithi, she made him go through a lot.

Looking back at those days, I feel so. Saras ko kehti hai use muskurana nah in aata. After seeing old episodes we can notice half the time she was frowning or turning away her face.

re: Kalika's find, I think its probably not Kumud's jewellery but Saraswati's... it had that sort of period look...

Sacrilege is letting Kalika loose among Saras' treasures... he's the most sentimental of men.

Perhaps that feather is a childhood memento from playing with his mum. Or a pigeon feather from the flock on VC's chatt. ...😉 Can see Kalika trying to match those...😃

Still holding on to hope that she'll find the other payal at the bottom of the box...

I know we give him credit for naivete but really twice bitten and still not careful?

(Saras is beginning to remind me of an accident-prone favourite cousin of mine who has managed to get three snake-bites over her life-span of sixty years. She doesnt live in a jungle, and it does make for uproarious after-dinner conversations - because she survived to tell the stories, but still...😕)

It seems that after ages , i have got to read so much about Saras ... Finally we are discussing all that is Good ... all that is Noble ...and all the million other Sterling qualities that make Saras such a remarkable Man ...

otherwise all the Pramad centred discussions and all the talk about the " Pramad - Sudharo Abhiyaan " had been getting a bit too much to take ... How can one even think that Vile , Violent , Abusive , Brutish , Womaniser ...the almost Murderer... who has already made an attempt to get Kumud murdered ... can ever be reformed ??

Infact to even take his name in the same line as Saras is such a huge insult to Saras ... a sacrilege of sorts ... and here we have the writers of the show giving dialogues calling him by the name of the Lord ... 😡

So Thank you all ... for bringing the discussions on CB back to Saras ... The Hero of Saraswatichandra ... am really greatful ...

Twila, you know the CV's have pressurised us into this, making Saras the hero of this story. @Bold, Samarth bai will be so sad, no wonder he has disengaged himself off the show. As per the original he was a weak person and in the show when he called and cancelled the wedding he had actually toppled the life of Kumud and her family. But now the show has moved in such a way that Saras is the hero, the person whose hurt and distress we can connect to where as the plight of Kumud is lost in all these. I have always believed and maybe it might be some percentage true, "Saraswathichandra" is the journey of this man who changed everyone's life, whose life was changed by a girl and his journey with her till the end, even though he was right or wrong.

Lol Veera! it's so nice that we can see saras in a different light rather than the devdaas they portray on the show! Waisey from what I remember kumud didn't wear earrings pre marriage! And feather? Kya issey khat likha tha saras ne?!!! Back to 10th century?!!!! Lol! Feather meri pen se achi hai! Lol!

@ happy-hmm good point! Shaayad it's a way to falter Kalika...she will go all ilzaam abt the earing n feather n saras will be like yeh meri maa Ki hai! Yeh feather is the same pen which she wrote her last letter ever before committing suicide!! N we all know saras gets caught in the moment and there will be Pramads cue!! Or clue even!!

@Bold - Kat, yr obs is incorrect. She used to wear ear-rings in almost every scene, unmissable but nice ones...

After marriage she was shown wearing OTT in-your-face stuff like all the other TV bahus...
