The subtle , gradual change in Pramad's character is an interesting angle..If I keep Saras- Kumud's love story aside, its always interesting to see the tough, outwardly insensitive and emotionally challenged men change in love.. right Arshi?😉 but here it solves a purpose..and that is of acting as the trigger to blow off the bomb that's kalika..she needs a motive to ruin it for Saras- Kumud..this will be the motive ..so it all fits in nicely.. what doesn't , is again Kusum..!!

Forgot to add.. great CB as usual Arshi..

So true Vaishali, taming of the shrew in reverse always makes for good viewing. And it doesn't bother me much because pramaad Kumud marriage was a known aspect and it will end with his demise. However, kusum is the real threat to Saras Kumud kahani, because once married to kusum, Saras will not be able to go back to Kumud.

Ab yeh twist kaise sambhalna hai dekhna padega.

And yes, I think you are right, a pramaad who is leaning towards Kumud will make kalika vindictive and she will be cause of ousting Kumud and Saras from bd house, bas yeh kusum naam ki museebat ka solution mil jaye to theek.

Btw, having SLB back at the helm is good news

Kaadal, this is in continuation of your yesterday's post. Even if pramaad sudhar had not happened, Kumud marrying Saras of her own choice would not have happened because the nayi soch is still very purana. Widows on indian telly remarry only for the sake of parivar and never for love.

@ Bold above ... i understand what you are saying ...
So it means that while we had all signed up to watch the Passionate Love Story of SAMUD ... But now we shall have to resign ourselves to watching a " Sacrifice Saga " .

I did not take the signs thrown around in the epi so blatantly, too seriously , and so was Quite OK with the epi... All these markers seemed to be Red herrings thrown in the path of us viewers to deliberately mislead us , to Confuse us ...

Since in the True Time tested fashion... the path of True Love is never Smooth ... and it is only after a long torturous journey filled with hardships and obstacles , that the Lovers unite ... so i am ready for all the twists and turns in the story of SAMUD ...

But then on reading the CB ... your brilliant lines laying it all down in Black and White ... somehow the signs seem so much darker ... and my Heart gets a sinking feeling .

But still , i want to cling to some kind of hope ... while the Mind tells me that the the signs are pointing to Darkness ... but the Heart wants to still believe in SAMUD ...

I would find it really hard to believe that Kumud can so easily forget all that Love , all those feelings for Saras ... and her decision to move on and make her marriage to Pramad a Success would mean that automatically her earlier Love disappears ... all those feelings for Saras vanish into thin air like Smoke ... and she can easily start loving the new Husband and start living with him happily ... 😡

Then what was all that Jazz about True Love and the " Chhavi of Saras imprinted on her Heart forever ... " all those dialogues were mere Empty words ... and the CHHAVI of Saras has been obliterated within a few days of Marriage ... what will be the Message that the CVs are going to give about True Love ??

As for Saras and Kusum ... i can not even think about it ...
She had been calling him JIJAJEE and Saras Bhaaii for months ... so now to think of them as a pair ... Isn't it kind of Blasphemous ?? 😡 So i do not even want to venture into that territory...

and to top it all ... this new article from TB saying that SLB is continuing ... It is all Confusion galore ... Do not know what to make of it ...

I think both of them have redefined their feelings and decided to move on.

So love doesn't go away, it's impossible.

What does happen however is, that you just steel your heart, and decide to move on, and focus on rebuilding a new relationship.

Not easy, and deep down not always possible, but the attitude is that life goes on and you just can't live in the past.

This is how Saras and Kumud have also reconciled their feelings.

Pyaar khatam nahi hota, kam bhi nahi hota

Bas uska roop badal jaata hai, akaar badal jaata hai

Dil ko izaazat nahi dete, unko sochane ki

Khayalon ka rukh mod lete hain,

Rishte ki gehrayee kam nahi hoti

Bas uska naam badal lete hain.

arshi-

I have mentally junked the link with the novel ... its not going to happen...even if SLB returns it will be on SP terms..

And this looks like its going forward towards TRP maiya stil...felt a more definitive push in that direction...

1) The bit with the powerful Dholna sung by Shubha Mudgal around Kumud & Pramad (almost the entire song)

- On a stand-alone basis (not thinking on the novel)...purely on the direction front...loved the timing and lyrics EXACTLY when kumud and pramad enter the room..."Pyar Ke Geet Zara Sun Le, Mein Aa Ya Re Ee"...and anshul's acting...the 'dada' style...

Look at the rest of the lyrics:
o mare aag na tu vaare
aisa mohak roop saja re
neele peele lal gulabi
ho gaye nain gajara re

are gaare gaare gaare
koi gaav aaya bhare

dholi jhamke dhol baja re
dholi jhamke dhol baja re

oo rangeelo maaro dholna
dholna ave

gori aaye hain aaye hain sajan
dekho kaisa milna ho gaya hai
tere chehre se lagta hai jaise
ek naya janam ho gaya hai

ae sajnaa...

All said and done Anshul is begining to grow on me...like his acting and subtlety he brings to his character...

2) Saras...reduced to the waiter man!...
- Do not like the horrendous dress on him...Why is he the only one dressed traditionally like the other waiters who were serving, when the entire BD clan (including Indresh & Murakhdas) are in smart sherawanis.

3) Kusum...concur to all points raised by arshi here...the role reversal...later when she comes to realize what saras has been through...will her hate 'blossom' into love...

And with saras & kumud seperated...kumud with her Dholna ...the field is wide open...Yuck!

4) Kumud forgeting to notice that saras has not eaten..

5) Kumud starting to coming clean with Pramad

NOW
- Without the baggage of the novel...is this Nayi Soch or TRP?... we have debated ad nauseum kumud and saras reasons for sticking to their stand...

- So now should both move on and remain exes?... Happens in real life...too much water under the bridge...You have a chance at something, sometimes you don't get it...

Also if you really cut to the chase...both Pramad & Saras have similar issues...Daddy issues, chips on their shoulders, issues related to acceptance etc. etc. ..

.. But while a Saras turned this inward into a depression type weakness ...Pramad turned it into an outward megalomania..

..So Saras is always crying and always feeling everyone did it to him...while a Pramad is always angry and feeling he will stick it to others first...

So million - dollar question:- Would a powerful & strong character like Kumud naturally gravitate towards a powerful & strong character like Pramad?

I don't know how GMT justified Saras marrying Kusum in his novel.. guess its easier to read than watch.. for what we saw in the show..all that ehsaas, jazbaato ka toofan, genda phool suhaag raat, etc etc etc.. its hard to imagine Saras agreeing to marry Kusum even at gunpoint..that too knowing that Kumud will live the life of a widow, assuming that Pramad will die at some point.. this Saras does not seem that callous and insensitive..how can he get ready to marry and co-exist with the woman he loves who has to lead the life of a widow? and Kumud proposing the deal??? again hard to imagine.. why would she want to ruin the life of her own sister.. doesn't she deserve to be married to someone who loves her and her only..?? I don't know how the writer justified this angle.. kinda makes Kumud look insensitive and stupid rather than sacrifical... but yeah! as far as the show is concerned , we will have to deal with this ''uncertainity'' till the end..
