Feeling really sad ...

although i do find it a bit surprising that the Channel and the PH could not work out their differences ... cause now even the TRPs were decent ... i would have thought that TRPs around 2.1 - 2.2 are fairly OK for Soaps ...

i guess the differrences about the Creative vision for the Future storyline were the main culprits ... and the divergence between SLB 's vison and the Channel's vison must have been too wide to be bridged .

Whatever it is ... really sad for Gautam ... and for us the viewers .

smrth Bhai, you mentioned it once before too... I have not. Are episodes available on Internet? Have you watched and would you recommend?

I daresay, SC will not even make it to 200 epi's... Or would it? Such a huge, huge shame 😭

Hgg bhai, prepare for all our theories (well-considered, logical ones, at that) to be steadily blown out of the water. It's a race to the end from here on UNLESS and this a big one, if SP and SLB reach some sort of compromise, and show gets extended to at least, Feb or March next year. All talks till now have resulted in ego's clashing

By my estimation, we're to the halfway mark, right? Wonder if there is still scope to follow both source and adapt to a decent end (Nayi Soch) in the timeframe? 😕

Twila, good news on that front. GR's dedication and commitment as well his stellar acting chops have not gone unnoticed. SLB's left v impressed and SP have apparently found an "investment"... See, how they're promoting him? But GR as Saras was something else... That brilliant portrayal will be sorely missed and forever cherished 😭

They celebrated the 100 episodes completion during the Shaadi track ... and now if the show ends in September , they have just one more month ie 20 episodes to the max ... so they are barely going to touch 150 ... wher is the scope for 200 ??

A question: Alak... Was it just me but was she sort of trying to ascertain Kumud's mettle in that convo? Was she rattling Kumud in the hopes that something would shake loose? She's the first one in BD family to refer to/threaten K with the past... I couldn't help but notice a lotta smoke coming out of the pan when the camera zoomed out... An ominous signifier perhaps...? Sorry, I cannot help but notice these background pieces, even when they are doing nothing 😕

Gautam has been soo Unbelievably OUTSTANDING as Saras that it is an Iconic performance ... He has lived and breathed Saras ...

I have said it earlier too and i shall repeat ... it is as if there is that one Special role that an actor is born to portray ... destined to play ... and for Gautam it is this role of Saras ... He was meant for this role .

i truly hope that Gautam gets all the name , fame , recognition and success in future that he so richly deserves.

@ Reemz ... i am a huge supporter of Jenny ... and strongly believe that Jenny has played the Perfect Kumud ... she has been absolutely BRILLIANTT ...

Jenny has performed beautifully throughout and has completely justified SLB's vision of Kumud ... when a genius like SLB has choosen her for this iconic role , so where is the scope of any questions ??

There can be no other Kumud Sundari Desai ... and i do not believe in any of the negativity about Jenny at all

A friend has lead us to this. Though wife had liked one more before...For me, a single watch from Pakistan Tv. But creativity! Abd best part; only 19 episodes. Available on You tube. Just try first (or ANY episode for that matter, all up to the class of Wednesday perhaps). Storyline almost same. They were engaged to be married; Nikah done, but Rukhsat yet to be...(had not much understood this initially, but contexts were cleared by a friend)...and calamity- again his mother- strikes...to sum up, extra ordinary, script, execution, class acts by ALL the actors, especially Samiya Mumtaz- heroine, one of the best direction, razor sharp editing- not a single frame unwarranted, exquisite Music matching diff moods and great title song by Fatehali khan, and great, finest dialogues (somewhat lyrical Urdu, had to reach out to other sources sometimes) subdued, subtle treatment in entire narrative.But above all, such a nice closure. It was a satisfying watch that remained with pleasant impressions (unlike...). If you happen to try a single episode, PM me...would love to hear impression in your vivid style.
