It's become all about powerplays now. Forget high-voltage drama on-screen. Off-screen dramas are more electrifying... Smh.

Hgg - one culprit is done for now. Culprits attention is elsewhere, eve now. N SLB won't b returning to tv again.

As you have explained then- ROI for SP would be crucial for SC's survival, but was there not a clever backup by PH to reduce burden of cost (for such a high spending project) built in? DD! we don't know smrth what was SLB's asking price for content, distribution rights etc.

Even with DD, majority cost would have been picked up by SP.

- DD also wanted some better show than the crap which normally gets.
- Who cares for TRP and Ad revenue in DD?... the taxpayers will subsidise all losses.
- DD goes on merrily with its own manual ledger-based trp rating system...a token to show it is also running 'professionally'.. it is the only channel which runs its own trp system and follows the inputs of its own trp system...tso where is the neutrality? ...its actually a perfect example of moral hazard and conflict of interest.
- therefore proportion of cost distribution to DD from the total cost would have been minor.
- if SP does not pick it up, SLB PH & show is out of business.
