And look G.M.T. in his proud Sanatani Brahminical ideology, is cynically 'disdainful' of Laxmi as goal of less enlightened, common stalk people.( Saraswati vs. Laxmi). a Pet skeptic response, " Laxmi chanchal;, aaj idhar kal udhar." And friends another note, even in book she was mentioned cursorily. Not a major character. Kumud knew about her too, having found her Kamarbandh in one of Pramaad's outhouse...So perhaps not much occurrence here either...

I was pointing out that saras & chandra exhibited same real life impact for kumud and similar names connotation both which are very positive...so the author was sadistic and ironical
