Solo Leveling: Han So-Hee to team up with Byeon Woo-seok for the Netflix project

Byeon Woo-seok became a global sensation after Lovely Runner. The show that combined timeless love and time travel was a hit with youngsters and older audience because of its comic and romantic quotient. His performance as idol Sun-jae was much appreciated all over. Byeon Woo-seok is the main male lead of the Solo Leveling series to be made by Netflix Korea. It seems Cha Eun-woo and he were the frontrunners and finally they decided on Woo-seok as the former had military commitments. Now, reports have come that Han So-Hee is the female lead with Byeon Woo-seok. It is a great pair as both have strong individual fandoms.

Solo Leveling is a South Korean fantasy web novel written by Chugong. It was serialized in Kakao's digital comic space in 2016. Two years later, it became a webtoon, which was very popular. The first season ended in March 2020. It also led to an anime TV series. The fantasy is about a world of hunters - human warriors who have to protect mankind from destruction by monsters. There is a weak hunter Sung Jin-woo who finds himself in a mysterious program called the System. His strength increases manifold and he fights all enemies. He discovers that he is Shadow Monarch who is the ruler of the dead. Only he can save humanity.
