How?...Well, a whole lot if viewers- the same, who were grumbling, me included- have now joined the vigil with the concerned hubby; " Hey Pramad, get little off. Not this finger. Not that hand. Not the face. Be off from Kumud." 😆

Certain K is now more relaxed at finding such a support system in place.😃

Logic, TRPs, original storylin, adaptation, ending ko maaro goli !!!!! I am excited as hell now :D Saras and Kumud have greh pravesh together in the same house.. !!! 🥳 Pramad as bad as we wanted or even more.. abusive and alcoholic so far.. Kumud will have to face worse at his hands... feel terrible for her.. but fikar nottt !!!! let our hero recuperate .. drama ab shuru hoga :D

Great inputs everyone and Arshi brilliant as always.. !! I will go through the whole thread on the weekend.!!! wait till Saras finds out what Kumud has gotten into ...

Honestly don't care about the ending now.. as long as they keep Kusum away.. I can't believe she was happy that she would have the cupboard all to her herself after Kumud leaves.. 🥱

For me, today, Pramad's characterization was completely apt to a real life good-for-nothing drunkard/womanizer. Although he set the guidelines of their "marriage" immediately, (with which I could come out of the depths of my misery and take a gasp of air after a long time) the way he treated Kumud wasn't underdone, nor too over the top.

Personally bringing my own experiences into the show, since my cognitive and comprehensive skills have been working, I've heard a few too many stories of common household domestic abuse back in India and here in Canada as well. Whether it was Aunty gossip over the phone or at my Nani's house, I've heard it all... I've also subsequently been educated about it in my primary years of school, and believe me when I say, domestic violence is a very nasty, degrading, torturous issue. So just an insignificant point-of-view from Vee here, is that, trust me, although there is displeasure about Kumud marrying Pramad suddenly instead of Saras, and an excitement of the abuse Pramad will put her through... Nobody deserves the internal suffering, the mental and emotional exploitation Kumud will endure.

Moreover, in large family gatherings, I've had my fair share of witnessing minor things myself... So believe me when I say Pramad's character portrayal, and Kumud's reaction to who Pramad is and what he's doing to her (specifically as she's come from a household of protection, pampering, and being her Daddy's little girl) are 100% apt and believable. So I would like to commend the team behind these scenes, Jennifer Singh Grover, and this new guy, Anshul Trivedi. Fabulous job. 👏

Another commendable moment, besides the amazing observations of our fellow abled CB writers, was again. VC and Guniyal's intertwined hands after Kumud's marriage. Last time their hands were intertwined they were assured and strong; they had the ability to nurture, create, love, and accept. Moreover, this time, it was very disheartening for me to see their intertwined hands relying upon blind faith that their daughter will be okay. It was an abrupt 180 degree turn for me to notice that instead of the usual nurturing of their intertwined hands, they were instead, holding onto each other for dear life.

Overall, a great episode ---- excellent work, Gautam Rode, at the beginning of the episode, for depicting the desperate, helpless, injured Saras ----- and lovely musings on CB! 😳

Looks like both Kumud and Pramad are on the same boat. She married to save parents' honour and to get over the betrayal and he probably to stop getting bugged from parents.

Saras did hurt her big time. But, she marrying in haste is a lesser mistake than not preparing herself for the new journey.

You know that's precisely what I was thinking in that roadside scene, both married for wrong reasons, due to parental pressure but that's where the similarity ends

He was pushed into it , she chose to do it

He has no desire to make it work, she would have made every effort to be honest to the relationship

He will blame her for this marriage, she would have blocked out her feelings and given her marriage every chance

But now of course, she has been categorically told by him, that they have no marriage whatsoever, so now it gets complex, socially ethically thinking of another man while married is still wrong, emotionally she is in love with Saras and pramaad does not have any claim on her heart,

So aage aage dekhiye hota hai kya

-- saras n kumud character are d backbone n pillars of this beautiful love story.saga... so if cv's tryng do any change 'modification with the role ., they shouldn't they should better stick like it was n beginning of d show...hope cv's knws better than us... but i wont be able 2 enjoy d story if their roles r changed...no matter what there reasons would be ...

I don't think Kumud will be a bechari bahu, she is not a person who sits back weeps shedding tears of self pity

Look at her throughout :

Saras rejected her, she was hurt, but did the right thing by him

During the wedding, she was broken, but took a decision to marry the man of her fathers choice

She knows how to keep her emotions in check, take affirmative action, and face the consequences

She will be strong, may not break up her marriage so soon.

Since she feels dead and broken anyway, she may decide to keep up appearances and keep her parents protected from the reality of her marriage,

Do the duties of the bahu sincerely, keep her dignity, but not be a doormat

if she becomes Mera pati Mera devta types, it will be against her character!

Saras - he will see what his rashness has done, and will suffer a lot

I expected Pramad to be a vile behaving deceptively in front of Kumud as well as his family.. But downright abusive? How did Buddhidhan and his wife end up bringing up an antisocial child like this? And how could the entire family deceive Desai family like this? I need an explanation CV's..

I am curious to know how they tie up loose ends now..Danny and Kumari,
Sunny and Saras, Sunny and VC family. LN and VC, Sahas Rai, Dugba. They did not have patience to spare a scene for Danny's good bye.

I would be happy with 200 good episodes to cherish than 2000 forgettable crap..

And the coffee shop is buzzing today, alive and cheerful, and

for that we are grateful

great observation...I had missed this due to my entire focus on saras, kumud & pramad...

agree that just like kumud, now VC & Gunial are also awakening to the implications of their decision to marry off kumud...they will suffer the most if & when they come to know of kumud's plight, knowing fully well that she went ahead with the marriage chiefly to save their face / prestige...

also I guess in kumud's absence the relationship between DB & kumari will finally start to mend for the better.

..uptil now in some respects kumud was always the first among equals in everyone's affection & attention even DBs...again a very common behaviour pattern in large joint families...where either the first born (because there was no other sibling at that time) or the last born (because he/she will be the last sibling of that generation of couples) becomes the center of attention and lavished with love & affection by the entire family...
