Arshi, if SLB has a full-blown Pramad in his adaptation, God Save Him. My guess is, if he actually shows Kumud as another man's wife, there'll be "blood on the streets"... But then, I am not SLB.😉... If he can pull it off without losing his shirt and all of us 'SC ke deewaane' by the wayside, hats off to him! Not holding my breath, though...😆

Sorry to turn your topic so grave with my bickering...brewing a perfectly fustian tempest in a teacup.😒.with my disappointment over certain take which cvs might not have intended in the first place😕...the shloka and juxtaposition re characterisation ( Saras)...as hindsight ...'where did Cvs claim it so?' Only A viewer's subjective interpretation...that's inadmissible perhaps...(ok, as personal take, I may continue. Even as comparison with original, I may. But objective sketch- no. And that's why I said 'worthless'...😆

In self defence of that subjective sketch- Saras's baffling respectful acceptance of Gumaan, despite narrated trauma and devotion to his real mother, could be reconciled with above interpretation of the shloka ( characterisation). I had thought, even as a 'decorative' homily, why only this shloka and not any other from thousands availabale? do these very subtle Cvs want to tel, us more in there?..Maybe that's where I faltered..there indeed might not be any deeper intone...just a 'pretty' BG...wish Vaishali or someone would have thrown more light...sharing their view...😊

- that somehow the universe is more intimately connected then thought possible

Although the strings in string theory are about explaining particles and forces in terms of different modes of vibrating "string" rather than our everyday piece of string, it reminds me of an image from the Bhagvad Gita, where Krishna says "Everything rests upon me, like pearls threaded on a String"!!!!😃
