Okay so this is my viewpoint on this subject, (i just watched yesterday and today's epis)

WHY?????

Kumud was not drunk

She was not intoxicated by any way

She was in a stable state of mind

So why is she regretting it? She did this in a stable state of mind. They show that when you are in love you get carried away.

NO YOU DONT!

How can someone in a stable state of mind do such a thing and not know what is happening?

You dont just loose yourself when in love, yes it is common to get close to the person you love but you cannot get carried away to a point where your get this intimate and not know what is happening until you are back at the house.

And the way that she is crying seems like she would rather die, sooo how can you possibly get thaaat carried away that you would do something which you cant even think of ever doing.

I think she is disappointed in herself for getting carried away in think! Remember, Kumud is someone that has very high standards! I just wish they had done justice to the scene and shown it to us!

for Kumud's reaction I am also not that convinced completely ... I agree she is all upset and disappointed because she thinks she has betrayed her parents trust.. she crossed her limit... but the way she first reacted after watching Saras.. as if he raped her.. "door raho muzase.." 😡 whats this...? I know she is all upset with what happened between them.. but saying PAAP and all... I am not saying to have S** before marriage is allowed but she overreacted to him.. poor Saras..😕

Kumud is behaving like Saras raped her and it is genuinely getting on my nerves!!!!!

She was not drunk and neither would Saras have imposed himself on her if she had said no!!!!!

So what does she want him to do now??

I mean this is 2013 and he lives in Dubai and has studied at Harvard!!!!It was special for him and that is why he did it!!!!!

If she doesn't stop treating him like that I may have to quit watching this show before she gets married to someone else!!!!!

I had sworn to stop watching it when she gets married to someone else!!!!!

The intimate scene might have been really intense so you might have to close your eyes 😆 maybe that's why they didn't show it to us 😳 I wonder how they made love? I am eagerly waiting to see it , hope its like Bollywood style 😆 and it reminds me of a scene in HDCS where Salman forgot his character's name in the movie 😕 got kicked out by Nandini's father because he touched or made moves on her and he had to leave the house

to err is human ... to regret it all after the fact ... even more human :).

She got carried away, was riding high on the wave of love, the grand proposal, the happiness that something which she coveted and was taken away was not all hers, willingly being given to her on a platter.

She was riding high, and did something, something out of character. Now she is regretting it.

Haven't we all regretted certain decisions we've made?

I think her regret as this point in her life shows her character - she's very strong in her beliefs, doesn't just take Saras's explanations and acceptance as the norm.

The scene was like the one in Parineeta. There, the girl did accept what they both did though initially she wasn't sure of what (the wedding) was happening and why the guy was referring to it as an eternal bond. Here, while she accepted it initially, it wasn't in her character to do so. And now that she's back home, she feels she's done something wrong.

What was interesting was the intensity of her regret. She does't meekly feel guilty and is just not meeting the eyes of her parents. She's out and and out livid with her disappointment in herself.

Interesting character, and an interesting change of events ...

I don't think she's blaming him or acting like it was rape. She said she could've stopped herself. Clearly she blames herself for her digression and is disappointed in herself. i don't think this is about Saras at all.

From the story, it's obvious Kumud is a very very strong character and has a very independent sense of right/wrong/values. She's very stubborn in her beliefs also. So if we're going by the story, this scene also shows that regardless of what the rest of the people are saying, she feels, and passionately so, that she's wrong. So she'll continue to repent for it.

if the storyline is akin to the one in the book, the character will make many such decisions where her strength will be tested. Maybe this is to show how willful this character is, and how ready to adapt to her decisions Saras is.

Lol, I've seen so many people saying that Kumud is acting "like he raped her." I'm sure she would've reacted much worse if he had raped her 😕 I didn't really see what she said to him that was so offensive? 😆 She was overwhelmed and upset and didn't want to be reminded of her guilt, hence the "stay away from me." She is angry with herself and wants to be left alone, I don't see the problem with it? 😕
