From the story, it's obvious Kumud is a very very strong character and has a very independent sense of right/wrong/values. She's very stubborn in her beliefs also. So if we're going by the story, this scene also shows that regardless of what the rest of the people are saying, she feels, and passionately so, that she's wrong. So she'll continue to repent for it.

if the storyline is akin to the one in the book, the character will make many such decisions where her strength will be tested. Maybe this is to show how willful this character is, and how ready to adapt to her decisions Saras is.

From the START , Saras was trying to get closer to Kumud many a times.. But he not knowing how to express with words , suffers in himself despite loving her..

After being with Kumud and after she changing him from what he was to what he is now , Saras became MORE EXPRESSIVE than before and there you go.. THE HUGGING SCENE .. THE CONFESSION... THODA ROMANCE.. FIGHT.. BACK TO ROMANCE.. PROPOSAL .. PMS..!!!!

He has been expressing his love since then and she too was doing the same.. 😳

And after that Proposal and that MOCK-MARRIAGE (i dont know what it's called) has just raised their levels of LOVE for each other and at THAT particular point KUMUD and SARAS got carried away.. 😛

And KUMUD was reacting in that way "Door raho mujshe" coz when she saw him after that night she's might have got only THOSE last night's THOUGHTS & GUILT which were haunting the INNER-KUMUD that she has done a SIN.. and that might be the only reason (in my opinion) why she talked to him in THAT way..!!! 😒

Hope this problem resolves soon..
