Wassup everyone, this is my first ever topic post on this forum

And I wish it was a better topic. But after such an incredible episode on friday, I was quite hyped up for a drama filled episode today. It was the only thing that got me through the last 2 days. And today when the episode started, the same scene from the last episode was shown again and so I waited to see if anything else was going to be added. But quite disappointingly it was a let down to see that there wasn't anything else added to saras and kumud's conversation.

And it went downhill from that...

Sure Kumud and her father's conversation was nice, but once again I was expecting more, and that wasn't delivered. I was wishing for some confrontation between Saras and Kumud, something with WORDS. But alas that wasn't delivered as well, just some looking over the balcony and questioning ones decisions.

The cute moment with the aarti was good, I liked the way it was awkward and tension filled. However I wanted some sort of conversation, Saras and Kumud aren't teenage kids who should be hiding feelings, instead like actual adults should have a talk about it. But thats never going to happen.

So after todays episode, it just felt so fillery. And I'm hoping that tomorrow's episode has more context in that and Saras and Kumud moments 😳

God knows if I'm the only one who was quite annoyed with the lack of content today. Oh well 😛

Not at all a letdown in my opinion. Saras blurted out a big truth, even if it was mistakingly. He admitted he feels something for her and that there could be something between them. This awkwardness is natural, even their silent scenes are brilliantly intense.

Saras' conversation with his mum said so much. His insecurity of loving someone, being loved unconditionally...it scares him. He needed time to himself. Kumud's scene with her parents once again showed how much faith they have in her. In a way it's almost scary how they keep instating the trust they have. All the scenes today were high in quality and content IMO :)

Not pointing at this post but I feel some are not trying to understand the importance of such episodes and scenes which are laying a foundation for the future storyline. So much is yet to happen and what we are seeing now is actually the setting of something bigger.

We can't expect drama everyday.. Today was big step in a positive direction with Dugba indirectly showing both of them the right direction and supporting them.. What Saras told Kumud has led to an awkward silence between the two where Saras can not go back on his words since it contradicts his own stand of avoiding to be in any sort of relationship. His words have led Kumud to more confusion than ever because now she is wondering if he actually feels something for her.. This awkward silence was inevitable more because Saras is avoiding her.. He doesnt know what to say if she asks him what he meant by having ''ehsaas'' for each other.. so no the episode was not at all a let down in my opinion but a natural next step to the unintentional admittance by Saras.

That's because I know how good this show is. So what if the TRPs aren't great? I've seen enough television to know that high trps do NOT equal to quality. The most twisted and pathetic shows have reached No.1.

If people are going to whine and change their opinion of the show just because the TRPs are not that great then they shouldn't be watching SC in the first place. I respect this show and regardless of what the ratings are, I will always put it on a high pedestal as long as the quality is how it has been till now.

Though agree with the assessment quality and content were high today too…but may they put foundations on more level grounds. Some bumps mar the flow; they show a verbal admission- immediately shocking them both. One says, 'what did he say?'. Other runs to his inner sanctum, 'Why did I say?' …..But both ignore far more descriptive display of their state- a physical closeness they shared - in its roaring compulsiveness on both; For him to seize it, for her to be seized by. What words are they wondering or regretting now??

OK let us pick up the cue that Cvs meant both parts combined in their 'bewilderment'. Then better they put at least some of the former in their dialogues. Why leave it on to assumed cues?

But shakier: His condescending 'sacrifice'…despite such a powerful act by the actor or scenes around him.

That's true they didn't seem to focus on the physical closeness which occurred before the verbal acceptance but then again they got past the 'touching of the waist' too but at that time Saras just said sorry. However, this time he admitted there is something more to their relationship which kind of shook both of them. After this tug of war, one finally clearly said that they could have something more.

I wouldn't call Saras' act a sacrifice, I'd more so call it his own insecurities and vulnerability which pulls him away. He doesn't know how to handle unconditional love...

Beautifully said Reemz, I loved today's episode. So consistent with Saras and so natural

What the epi lacked in drama, it more that made up for in emotional intensity!

And it was tightly packed, with not a word or moment wasted!
