QH is a complex story...watch it from the beginning if you are interested as all characters have an important role. Its not just a love story

Sanju, if you looks at all heroines from old Indian classics, all these women have immense pride in themselves. Paro was like that too. Especially when it comes to the men they love...they want equal if not more respect from them

Di, you write so beautifully! Loved how you said that. Both the characters do take pride in who they are and what they are. Kumud may have made a mistake and taken her pride a step forward, but at least she had the decency to accept the fact she made a mistake- I think for her that is a huge stepping stone. And I really do hope Saras forgives her one day because he genuinely feels that he should.

Hi Anita! How are you? Miss interacting with you. How's college? You must have graduated by now😊Time flies. I am glad we can interact again thanks to SC. Yes, an egoistic person has a very hard time saying sorry. Kumud's plea for forgiveness is very genuine and not laced with arrogance

Beautiful topic :) Always loved reading your topics since DMG days as a silent viewer!!

I'm glad you showed the connotations of pride and ego so simply because coming to this forum and reading numerous monotonous topics on both the characters, especially on Kumud, was getting really frustrating. 😳 Kumud is definitely a prideful woman but with a small hint of ego, which I personally don't see as a bad thing. It's only human nature to be a little egoistic at times, no? However, their characters may be, they're very similar to each other and are head-to-head when it comes to pride. That's exactly what sets them apart from any other duo I've seen before.

Hi Melody. Thanks for reading my posts. I am surprised you still remember me from DMG days...phew those were same days esp those arguments on AR/SR😆
Yeah, both Kumud and Saras are head strong, proud people. They make the story more interesting. If one was all goody goody, then the story would not be interesting.

I don't hate her I was annoyed by her too I think she was overdoing it but she made it up to us on Friday when it showed how sorry she was.

Thanks harshana. I think everyone's personality has many layers. The serial is showing us various layers of both the protagonists. That's why we need to be patient before we all jump on to conclusions. People is real life are like that too...we can never judge someone on 1-2 meetings

Di, I'm doing well! Hope you're doing well. I see you around FB (I'm Anu on FB LOL) and love reading your analysis on QH episodes :) So glad you've ventured into SC forum cause I would LOVE to read more amazing posts like this more often! Your posts are thought provoking and really make me want to reanalyze the characters' actions! Time does fly by..I'm graduating December hopefully! Thanks for asking😳

I've read your replies to other posts and I completely agree with what you're saying. I think Kumud has a lot of pride in her, which sometimes looks as if she's being egoistic to others when she really isn't. It's just a clash of pride between Kumud and Saras...like that dialogue where Saras went "sirf mujhpe bharosa nahin hai, ya bharosa karna aata nahin hai"- Kumud knows how to trust, but her pride is getting the better of her when it comes to Saras due to the rejection and the insult she feels as a result of that.

Sorry man, I have no clue about that. My username is short for my name. 😃

I understand that pride of hers... if I were in her shoes I would have probably not entertained at all but then again it isn't my story 😳
I understand the 'chehra nahi dikhaungi' -that comes under pride...taunting him about how untrustworthy he is, that he is a coward... all that was uncalled for... especially because she doesn't know him AT ALL. A very thin line between ego and

Thanks Jammy. Your ID just had me stumped because we just found about his nickname last week. Kumud has grown with a lot of pride and probably for the first time was scorned by someone. I think she just reacted to the perceived insult although we know that his refusal had nothing to do with Kumud or her family. I am sure once she gets to know saras better, she will understand where he is coming from

Thanks jugliji. I don't watch that show but have heard that RK has a pretty big ego
