Yes it all depends upon where one is from...Many non hindi people write T as TH...In our alphabet we have CH and CHH, T and TH, D and DH , K and Kh, G and GH, S and Sh as different letters and pronounciation...We should be spelling them correctly...
Let go in hindi = Chhod or Chhor not Chod or Chor...It changes the total meaning..
This is where one has to know meaning to a word b4 writing it out...

and in Hindi
if you say:
