It should stay true to the novel. Obviously changes will be made to suit the contemporary audience of 2013. However, it would be unfair to change a classic tragedy to a happy show just for a bunch of fans! Also, SLB is popular for questionable/tragic/bitter-sweet endings.

Inshallah, Saraswatichandra will stay true to what it is and have an ending that leaves you thinking.
