I don't understand why people would even start to watch this show if they're expecting a happy-dappy couple with a candyfloss ending. The story is popular for being a classic tragedy.

Everyone hoping for a happy ending for this show, make sure you want to watch the show now because you are in for a lot of hurt and pain. The original novel was a sad ending. The movie that was made on it, had a sad ending. So one way or the other SLB is going to be true to the novel and we will have a sad ending to the show.

I mean come on, just to satisfy the "happy endings" lot of viewers, it's not fair to change the story of the novel that's a part of our culture. That'll be like changing the end of Romeo and Juliet. It won't stay a classic anymore and will become an insult to Shakespeare's work 😊

SLB did some changes here and there, but i really hope he's not planning to change the ending 😳 Because, then it won't be 'saraswatichandra'. The novel is reknown as one of the best tragedy and i want it to remain same. The essence shouldn't be lost. Also, i'd always find tragedies way more impactful. so yes, i'm hoping for same tragic ending.
Though its funny how the show didnt even started yet and we're already here discussing the ending 😆
p.s. every other indian television show have pre-planned happy ending. And i dont want saraswatichandra to fall into that category, it should be different 😳

Be it tragic or happy, a good drama is one that leaves a place in the heart of the audience and connects to them emotionally. I am okay with either ending as long as it is successful in moving me.
