I had caught up the past two days, from Kabir's entry and basically Kabir-Rachna.
I had watched till yesterday. But after yesterday and reading today, I have no desire to watch further. It's going to end next week is one thing. But what the hell?
Really Kabir? I understand you feel guilt over what happened and know the family is thinking about Rachna and don't want to go against her family. But really? You are going to put that over her? When you saw how she stood up to her family for you, and only went up to her room because you nodded for her to go?
If he had spoken up then and there and said he still wanted to marry Rachna (foregoing his promise to Shayl, yes), she would've stayed by him and fought. The girl who would never go against her family would have done so.
Okay, so you don't want to put her in such a position.
But now, you agree to this bullshit?
What a wuss! I have no desire to watch you!
Then there are the Gargs. Granted, their objection now is coming from an understandable place. That family has always been regressive in many matters, but in this case their behavior is understandable. I'm even willing to let Mayank slide for forgetting that he told Gunjan he would side with her and forgetting what she pointed out that she had given him another chance as well.
But seriously, this little plan of theirs Rachna's parents take away all the understanding of their predicament and just reminds me of the reasons to dislike that family, more so Dayal.
Well, it's been a nice half-a-week.
Peace!
