Is sara khan faking about Balaji offer ?

An idle mind is devil's workshop. Sara Khan, who was allegedly bumped off from 'Bidaai', is throwing one surprises after another. The biggest of all is that the girl has now started to give quotes to the media. That was not the case while she was in the show. Now that she's out and Sara Khan has started talking about quite a few things.

The first is a movie with Riteish Deshmukh, the second her participation in Bigg Boss, and third Ekta Kapoor approaching her for a role. While, Sara has been candid enough to rubbish the first two stories, the girl casually admitted that it just isn't Balaji but other big producers too are looking for her dates.

Well, we're hearing that this is just another publicity stunt from the actress who is insecure about her future.

A source from Balaji says, "To my knowledge, Ekta hasn't approached Sara Khan for any show. Currently, we're auditioning for 'Fanaa' and 'Kitani Mohabbat Hai'. Sara doesn't figure into any of these shows. Besides, there's no proposal for any other show. Thus I'm puzzled as to how could Sara say that Ekta is looking for her".

Adding further, the source says, "It makes no sense to pick an actor who's been tagged as a particular character since the last three years. Perhaps, Sara is feeling a bit insecure after her exit from 'Bidaai'. That's why she's coming up with such stories".

Ever since a portal reported that Sara was being pursued by Ekta, news channels have tried to go deep into the matter. Word has it that Ekta herself is amused by such tale.

Guess, one hasn't heard the last word on this issue. Don't be surprised if Sara Khan comes out tomorrow saying that she's about to face Sach Ka Saamna.

Nishant beats Kinshuk in the race
Buzz up!

Last week Indya.com reported that how two actors Kinshuk Mahajan of Bidaai fame and Nishant Malkani from Miley Jab Hum Tum are vying for the lead role in Rajita Sharma's love story for Zee TV.

Discuss here

Though Kinshuk denied having even auditioned for the character, Malkani stated that he has audtioned for many roles and doesn't remember if Rajita's show figures on the list. Well the two might have vehemently denied but as per our duty we hereby disclose the name of the actor who has managed to beat the others to the post to get signed on by the producer. It is none other than Nishant who has bagged the lead role of a Gujarati boy Anukalp in the yet untitled project.

Informs a source, "Nishant was the first choice of both the channel and the production house and they have finalised him to play the male lead. The protagonist of the show is yet to be finalised who happens to be a Punjabi girl. The show is a light hearted romantic love story, where a Gujju boy falls for a Punjabi girl. The show is a refreshing change from heavy drama and will deal with emotions lightly. The shoot of the same will start sometime in mid August. Nishant, who is currently seen in STAR Plus' Sasural Genda Phool has been asked to quit the show as he won't get time to work on both the shows. He has already given his notice to the makers of the show. The title of the show is yet to be finalised as the production team is hunting for a suitable title for the show. Actress Priya Bathija too has auditioned for a pivotal role and in all likelihhod will be finalised on the show."

When contacted Malkani said, "Please speak to the channel or the production house. I am no authority to comment on this."

We sent a text message to producer Rajita Sharma, Magic Lanterns, but she didn't revert.

Ashita Dhawan: I went on my first date in my first year of college. All the boys were scared of approaching me because of my six feet tall brother who was overtly protective about me. My date pursued me since class 11th but I agreed to go out with him two years later. He took me for coffee in a hotel right in front of our college. The funniest part was I didn't let him touch my hand or even hold it as I was really scared of my brother. We ended up splitting the bill and each one of us paid 12 Rs 50 paisa. It was a hilarious date for me.

Angad Hasija

After Rajan Shahi's 'Bidaai' took a leap, there were many changes incorporated within the show. Two of its major characters had bid adieu to the show and not only the audience but also the actors on the sets who had got used to the routine, had to suffer the changes after the leap.

"Since the show had started, we all were together on the sets and were also friends. Sara, Kinshuk, Parul Chahan and I had a gala time on the sets, sharing our tiffin, laughter, jokes, talks and much more. But now suddenly after the leap, everything has changed and we too miss those two in the course of our daily routine and on the sets." said Angad Hasija.

Angad further adds, "Now, I frequently get bored without Sara and Kinshuk and I really miss them a lot. Hope I get out of this boredom very soon. On the other hand, it seems that as I got used to them, I will also get used to life without them soon. Even I know that I have no option but to work without them."

As said, changes are the spices of life; you do need to add some spice to your life post the leap in the show!

img]http://tellycafe.com/images/stories/angad_hasija1e.jpg[/img]He's confessed to being bored without having his mates Sara Khan and Kinshuk Mahajan anymore in 'Bidaai'. Angad Hasija, a.k.a Alekh, is having tough time these days shooting for 'Bidaai'. This frustration was evident while the actor spoke to this reporter a few days ago.

We asked him to come up with a query (prediction) for oracle Paul on our feature. The actor struggled to come up with anything and asked us only to bail him out. We suggested on asking about the fate of his show, to which he replied that he's been told multiple times in the past that his show will be ending in six months time. That's why he sought to know about the longevity of his show from Paul.

On a serious note we asked how long he will like the show to continue, Hasija replied, "Honestly speaking, we've been around for long. The fatigue factor does start to creep in. I don't think we have much story left to tell. In the current scenario, I don't think the show will last more than a year".

Now that is an honest answer. It is least expected when the actor is continuing his journey with the show. When the actor starts getting tired, one doesn't need to look at TRP or public opinion to take a call on the future of the show.

Ragini wants her daughters to be happy

History is repeating itself on STAR Plus primetime show Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai with the discrimination between fair and dark skin striking again. Earlier, Ragini was discriminated because of the colour of her skin and now its her daughter Khushi's turn. Ragini, who treats both Khushi and Tamanna equally is finding it difficult to make Tamanna understand that one should look at the person's nature and not judge them by the colour of their skin.

Ragini said that she felt sad to see Tamanna upset. "It is sad that she is being ridiculed by her friends for not being chosen to be the fairy in a skit. I tried to make her understand that it was okay, but then she told me that she wasn't chosen because she was dark skinned and Khushi was chosen for the part instead. I missed Sadhana a lot when Tamanna told me this. While I am happy that Khushi bagged the role, I feel bad for Tammy. I need to figure out how to deal with the situation like a good mother," she says.

She adds, "I want both my girls to be very happy. I am proud of both of them because despite instances like this, they share the same amount of love and respect between them like Sadhana and I had. Although Tamanna is happy for Khushi, she is sad for herself. I just want to tell her that it is not the skin colour that identifies the nature of a person, but it is their behavior. I'm sure my family will help me in solving this problem, the same way they did for Sadhana and me when we were young."

We asked some of Ragini's family members about the obsession with fair skin and whether people are as obsessed about it today, as they were in the past.

Malti Bhabhi said "I think there are certain remote areas in the country which still discriminate among girls based on their skin tone. We are trying our level best to stop this discrimination."

Ragini's mother Kaushalya said "Elderly people discriminate between fair and dark complexion. We have had skin colour-based discrimination for a very long time."

In the current episode, the issue of skin colour is raised again when Kavya tells Tammy that the dark dress will not suit her because she is dark. This upsets Tammy and after sometime Kaushalya nani tries to apply a face pack on Tammy's face to make her fair, but Ragini stops it. Meanwhile, Anmol gets the power of attorney from the bank manager so that it can be signed by Alekh.

What will happen when Ragini catches her daughter wearing a face pack? Will Alekh sign the power of attorney? To know, don't forget to watch Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai from Monday to Friday at 9 pm only on STAR Plus.
