Parul Chauhan injured while rehearsing for Nachle

There are many actors who do not report to work due to their illness and are tagged unprofessional for such behavior. And then there are others who take their work just too seriously and end up paying a high price for it. Something similar happened to TV star Parul Chauhan, who rose to fame as Ragini in Star Plus' Sapna Babul ka... Bidaai. The actress is currently on bed rest.

Incidentally, Parul was to appear in Imagine's Nachle Ve with Saroj Khan. And while rehearsing the steps at home, she injured herself. "It was my first day of rehearsals and I was very nervous, so I thought of practicing a few steps on my own. But, somehow I twisted my foot and I ended up with a fracture in my right feet."

Parul has been advised complete bed rest and will take at least a week to recover. And Parul is very upset about it as she was looking forward to be a part of this dance show. "I have worked with Sarojji before and it was great fun. My first song with her was Madhuri Dixit's Aaja nachle and I also performed on Sheila ki Jawaniin Nachle Ve 2. This time, Sarojji was counting on me. But it is not possible now," she says.
