Kaushi who is dead against Ragvir's marriage has fixed her rishta with Shishir. But Ranvir refuses to give up and convinces Alekh-Sadhna to bring Ragini out so he can confess. Ragvir has a heart-to-heart conversation and confess their love for each other. But problem arises and Vinu is arrested for fraud--it's actually Naveen's fault but he puts the blame on Vinu. Vasu insults Sharma family and Ragini breaks all ties with Ranvir because she cannot be with a guy whose mom insults her family so much. Ranvir understand how much his mom really hates Ragini when she says Ragini isn't even fit to be RV house's servant. Ranvir tries to get to the bottom of things, only to make Ragini happy, withou expecting anyhting in return. He comes back with proof of Vinu's innocence on Ragini's engagement to Shishir and is shocked and upset to see Ragini getting engaged. Shishir however realizes that Ragvir love each other and steps aside.
Malti and Sadhna arrange a meeting for Ragvir at the temple. And upon finding out, Mamaji tells Ranvir that he wishes to talk to his family while Kaushi slaps Ragini. Vasu refuses to come and mamaji tells Ranvir that he will only let Ragvir marriage happen if Vasu agrees. Ranvir promises to convince Vasu. He tries everything--getting Salekh to dress up as Radha-Krishna to explain that even Krishanji was dark and dark skin color isn't bad. Indu, Sadhna all try to convince Vasu but to no avail. Malti tries to get Ragvir to run away with each other but both vehemently refuse.
Seeing all of his efforts go to waste, Ranvir gives up ad tells Sharma family that they should get Ragini married elsewhere because Vasu will never agree. Alekh falls sick and doesn't understand why Ragvir are turning away from their happiness for the peace of the families. Alekh goes to Vasu with a knife and tells her she's a terrible mother and for the first time in 20 years or so, lets her touch him. Vasu is overjoyed and finally consents to the marriage. Ranvir again decides to go back to US to be away from Ragini's memories when he finds out that Vasu has agreed. He is ecstatic. The engagement date is set and both get engaged. Kaushi is still upset though because she doesn't want Ragini to marry inot the same house as Sadhna and be compared to her. Mamaji gets her to agree by asking her whether she would still oppose to the marriage if Sadhna was her own daughter.
From the engagement till the marriage, there are some really sweet/romantic scenes between Ragvir. During the haldi ceremony, however, there is huge drama. Vasu's BFF, Sheetal, comes back and upon seeing Ragini, insults her and calls her ugly and stuff. Ranvir in true hero style overhears everything and stands up for Ragini telling Sheetal that her opinions are totally wrong. I think that's one scene that needs to be watched. Ranvir's dialogues are just too good. He says that Ragini's personality matters over everything. She is supposed to be his life partner not a showpiece. He says that it's not that she isn't worthy of him, but he is not worthy of her. He says she's the most beautiful girl in the world. Sharma family and Rajvansh family are proud of Ranvir while Sheetal feels insulted and leaves blaming Vasu for being a bad friend. Vasu's insecurities regarding Ragini's color are back.
In the mehendi, Ranvir's total pagalpan is seen when he shows up at the mehendi dressed in a sari as Ragini's college friend Sunaina🤣
Ragvir get married. Vasu cancels their reception because she is ashamed of Ragini's color and lies to Ranvir about how she has to go to Delhi ASAP for charity work. She sends both Ragvir on a honeymoon to Kerela instead. Salekh acompany them. All 4 have fun and Ragvir realize how incomplete Sadhna's life really is due to Alekh's mental instability and both vow to help Salekh come closer..
Whew that's it..this was their love story and their marriage + honeymoon. 🤣
Afterwards, there wasn't a track on Ragvir. The writers just used them for the romance quotient of the show, showing random romantic scenes every now and then to please viewers.
Writing this just refreshed all my memories..and now I really miss them😭
