if you read my post, I am in way trying to demean Sara or Parul. I am just talking about the show and the flaw of the show.I dont know why it has always to end up with the comparison, if I really compare, then I would say both are pathetic dancers.

Music is said to be in people's blood. My niece from 3 year old could sing classical songs flawless and she was audiioned by no other than Guru Rashid Khan and taken as the disciple.

What I wanted to say is if there is a dance competition, why not train both the girls fo at least a month under a good choreographer and when the production house has such a dancer like Komolika Guhathakurta, just train the girls for a month under her and one can make out the improvement. Like the "nara" or thread tying for Sadhna is one of the best things that they could show. An artist has to have a proper guru and its a formality to tie a "nara" before accepting someone as a disciple. An artist without a guru is said to be a child without a father in the music world...this is reality I am speaking of.

Regarding Parul's movements, the character has problem with leg, not shoulder. First of all, in case a step is not done properly, the choreograoher should omit a step and give a step which suits the actor, and make it more pleasing to the eyes.

and whatever motif it is, if the production is showing a biggest dance competition, people need to feel while watching the show that indeed it is a big dance competition.

wel said bani👏

watch also Jaya Prada in Sur Sangam..you will see how a lady dances decently in a sari, how long the sari should be tied and how to cover up ones belly while doing the steps in a sari..those were the days where every art reached its zenith, because the land was fertile. You will see all good composers, whether dancers, musicians, doctors any excellent people were born that time

In sur sangam, apart from dance, the music there composed by Rajan Misra, Sajan Misra and sung by Lata Mangeshkar will bring tears to your eyes...

Anyway we are off subject.....hehe........back to the subject.........Ya Sadhna looked really graceful in the kitchen.... so they must be training them in some sort of way......hopefully she dances like that in the final round...........

you know what made the difference in the kitchen, her dancing with arms extended and none of the arms crossing the midline for that part of the body. Let us see what happens...

hey Jyoti, I was really impressed with your credentials and you are ganguly and I am ghoshal...😊

coming to the point, there is something called pleasing to the eyes..noone can be picture perfect unless you do a "Sadhna" of the art. otherwise, every other day, one great dancer can be born and years and years of practice will not hold true.

I just want to say, let Sadhna and Ragini do simple steps, but do correct...

I loved the way u hv discussed everything👍🏼..and I do understand if they want to show a real classical dance they should show it properly or just continue with filmi dancing😆..
I read what u said in other post as well..see the problem with daily soaps is that they need to shoot regularly because its not a film which releases after a year and so the actors get enough time to train themselves in classical dancing or martial arts or whatever to achieve perfection..here in daily soap world u don't get that time to b perfect...so such loopholes r seen in every daily soap today...
Under such circumstances I agree the choreographer should make sure that both the characters r given simple steps which look pleasing to the eyes and the actors r able to do it with perfection..

very well said
even though this story is a fiction, we need to see few things like the dances and the rhythms proper.
nothing was right with the way ragini & sadi were dancing
& doesnt it take years before U can even think of winning a dance show like this to win!

yes , exactly, dance is a penance. Its no joke, no one , please let me emphasize, NO ONE can learn dance in 4 days, leave alone win a competition beacuse of that learning. I have learnt classical dance (not Kathak, but its called Bharatnatyam) for almost a decade and believe me , its no joke. and here, Ragini and Sadhna are making a mockery of our Indian culture by dancing that way.
