I agree why is the onus only on boys to take care of parents.
Isn't Sadi educated.she can work.
Why just Sadi even Kaushi should work .
She could supply tiffins to office goers or something.

RS shows are so repressive toward women.
Even uneducated women slog and work hard for their families.
Here the only independent woman shown is Vasu and not a very good role model at that.

More than seeing Mamaji working as a peon, I think Mamaji's main cause of sadness or pain is out of his three children, whom he imparted same values, neither Vinu nor Ragini is walking on the path of truth and righteousness...he must be feeling more pain as he has been a failure as a father...hope things change soon...
