I am one of the silent member who reads updates on daily basis!!
I am not sure but I think that this mystery girl might be Dolly - Ranveer /Alekh's sister who does not have any relationship with this family. Probably she might have got into some problem and Ranveer is helping her out without letting family know about it.
This girl for sure is not Alekh's girl friend as Alekh is in this codition since childhood. But then we never know these creative people.........
Ranveer's ex girl friend issue was completed I guess..........Again I have not wated this serial from day 1so can't say.........but just a wild guess that this girl is Dolly.
