Anyways, im glad at least that there is so much passion and fire in those of us who watch this that we can sometimes be a little on edge with each other! I agree that the sisterly love on screen is the reason Bidaai works. Its the cornerstone of all the relationships, really. You know, ranvir would never have found ragini, and Alekh would never have gotten Sadhna if the two sisters didnt love each other in the first place.
That message is reinforced when we see another pair of sisters, Vasu and Ambika, who were presumably in the same position-bahus in a new family-and still they could keep their relationship as sisters alive in the face of their own prejudices. Im quite sure, you know, that they werent close to begin with.
I think, Ragini and Sadhna represent a different way of communicating and showing love, one where there is no expectation and no measuring of love. Thats wonderful, but it should be balanced by equal happiness in both fates, so we can see that one does not always have to sacrifice, like every other saas bahu show, over and over again, to get happiness in life.
The message I think, is, that really not one's color or beauty that makes or breaks our lives, it is our family and their love for us that truly gives us strength and lasting happiness.
Thats true of Ragvir, where the two different clans realized the depth of Ragini's and Ranvir's sacrifice for their families, and those families then in turn gave them their wedding. Now its Salekh's turn-a jodi that started through sacrifice, which should now end in happiness for Sadhna and Alekh.
I swear, when Malti commented about Suhag raat and Alekh not being right in the head, Sadhna's face just made me feel like crying.
