The thing was Vasu was completely quiet after Indrajit asked her. You didn't even need to see Vasu's face to understand that she wasn't comfortable with it.

Kaushi's request was oddly ignored. No one even said anything to it. I found that weird.

Satyen saying that Indrajit's idea was good was enough for the decision to be taken. I would've thought someone would say something to Kaushi. I don't know.

Yeah. I found that kind of strange too....I guess everyone was lost in their own thoughts and maybe if Kaushi had persisted a little more assertively with her request, then it may not have been ignored....

yeah that was me......id felt that is was some kinda ego tussle in vasu's mind...that she would have to relegate hersilf to the position of the sharma women.....its one thing to be nice amidst all others....n another thing to gel well without the crowd around.....n vasu is not a very gregarious talker.....so it would be further discomforting 4 her.....n kaushi being smart sensed that....ergo she quipped up.....though everyone genrally ignored her opinion....
