"sayukta do you think life is a joke, you idiot how did you even think to do this, my sayukta would never be such a coward, did you not once think about yourself, your mum, kaustuki, parth...anyone?... did you not even think of me how could you, I don't care what problems you have in your life you should have talked to me I would have helped but what if I didn't come in time what if you cut your wrist do you even understand what that would have done to me...oh sayukta I would have died."

Saying whatever his heart felt he let go of her and wiped his tears, sayukta looked at the man in front of her and in that moment she realised that this was love, it was love that was between them, it was love that had brought tears to Randhir's eyes, it was love that made her want to live again.

She slowly cupped Randhirs face and made him face her, there was so much to say but the silence had a way of speaking between them, all she managed to whisper out was "sorry"

DOWNSTAIRS

Dad: did you see your daughter has no shame, she wants to go study, go explain to her that women are only created to serve men, go tell your daughter that if she doesn't get married then she will get kicked out of this house or even worse I might just kill her.

Sanyuktas mum had enough, she tolerated her husband all these years only because she was taught that daughters are a burden and once they go to their husbands house they should only go out in the funeral pyre, once she got married she only stayed for her kids but now it was time to break her silence, she mustered up the courage and spoke for the very first time in front of her husband justfor her baby girl.

Mum: why should she go away why will you kill her my daughter has a right to dream and how dare you say that women are only made to serve, did they not tell you that jannat is beneath a women's feet not a mans, I cannot do this anymore, fine if you want deprive my daughter of her dreams then I shall leave with her.

Ankit: mum don't you get involved the men of the house will sort it out.

Just then footsteps were heard descending down the stairs, the whole family looked up to see sayukta and Randhir holding hands and being each other's support.

The whole family looked shocked but sayukta and Randhir were calm as they knew they could tackle the whole world together.
