The whole family looked shocked but sayukta and Randhir were calm as they knew they could tackle the whole world together.

Dad: what the hell is this, how did this insolent boy enter this house, Ankit are you blind go separate your sister's hand from that boy

Ankit proceeded to separate them, he was evidently angry at how his sister could disobey him and their dad. He was about to punch Randhir when his face smashed against Randhir's fist. It felt good all the frustration that Randhir had kept inside himself came out but unfortunately ankit was the one who had to suffer. With the punch to his face ankit fell to the floor unconscious . Randhir smirked and proceeded in the direction of sunyuktas father.

Sayuktas dad was amazed at this boys behaviour, he slapped Randhir...Sayukta cringed and wanted to stop her dad but Randhir stopped her by tightening his grip around her wrist.

Randhir knew that this matter needed to be dealt with extreme delicacy. He spoke in a calm and composed voice.

Randhir: look Mr Agarwal, you are sayukta's father, you know your daughter more than anyone so then you know that it is her dream, her life to become an engineer, you have the right over her, you can get her married against her wish if you want but all that will lead to is you destroying her life, she will hate you for the rest of her life, and a world in which your own children hate you is no world at all. Please Mr Agarwal listen to your daughter for once you should be proud of your daughter she has dared to do something which the women of today should have the strength to do she chose her career over marriage. Your daughters each day has been a struggle but she has passed each struggle to reach here please don't let it all go to waste. I agree that getting her married is very important but please remember marriage is a very vital part of your life, but don't forget it is only a part of your life and not your entire existence. Sayuktas existence is from her work, from her passion, from her engineering. Please set her free to live her life.

Sayuktas dad was amazed no one had ever talked to him about his daughter in such a way, he was more amazed that this boy standing in front of him, who was holding his daughters hand did not talk with disrespect, in fact he spoke in a well mannered way. Sayuktas dad heart broke as he saw his daughter taking the support of this boy in front of her own father. He then realised that he had made a very big mistake by choosing a life for his daughter when all he should have done is guide her and be her support.

He knew he was wrong but he wanted to know what relationship this boy had with his daughter.

Dad: and what is the relationship between you two?
Randhir: Trust, friendship, loyalty, enmity, protection, love...yes I love sayukta and I am not afraid to say it. I love her.

Sayukta was so happy she finally heard the words she was craving for a long time. Her eyes unwillingly leaked but after so long these tears were of happiness.

Sanyuktas dad took his daughters hand in his own and with tears in his eyes apolagized.

Dad: My baby girl I am so sorry, I should not have put pressure on you like this, Randhir is right you gave made me proud, go my daughter live your life, fulfil your dream my blessings are forever with you.

Sayukta hugged her dad, she cried in his cradle. She was so happy on this day she gained her father's blessings and the love of her life, she internally thanked god.

Sayuktas dad invited Randhir and his wife into the hug, and there it was the perfect family picture. Each and everyone was crying with tears of happiness. Sayuktas dad was happy as he finally understood his daughter and got her love a respect back, her mum was happy as her daughter finally could live her life as a free bird, Randhir was happy because he had finally expressed his feelings for sayukta and sayukta was happy because she was surrounded by all the people she loved, for her it was the perfect equation. Sayukta*Randhir+parents blessing= happy family.

Ankit finally awoke and confusingly looked at this picture perfect moment and only managed to say "what did I miss?" the whole family laughed, at the scene in front of them.
