VB Note:

Guys why are we diverting from the main agenda of the thread. This thread was opened to get clarity and difference between constructive/Destructive criticism but instead of discussing it in a healthy manner why people started attacking/bashing each other (directly or indirectly).
Cant we keep one thread away from fights and sarcasm and if one person is doing so intentionally/unintentionally to instigate other person cant other person ignore it for once and see the difference.

Its always said "taali ek haath se nahi bajti" so if a person is deliberately taking things far please leave them there, ignore them and move on. Best way to avoid any fights.

Just a note from me...if i'll get more reports members will get PM warnings and thread can be closed as well.

Nice post.

For the past four weeks I have tried to remain neutral and not comment on behalf of anyone Dev or Giaa.

But now I just want to say that, let's not forget that this applies to all of us, whether we are Gia appreciators or Dev appreciators.

Personally for myself I tried to give Dev time to get into the character of Gopi, but from the beginning I connected with Gia as Gopi, and this took me a while, believe me, because I bashed Gopi when she was being played by Gia too, but since the education track I have always been more connected to the character of Gopi and next is Koki.

On this past Thursday, I decided it is not working for me at all, I don't connect with Dev as Gopi, and it is not her fault at all, she is working hard and trying her best.

My problem is the track and the way they are once again showing Koki. In the past even showing Koki the way they are showing now, I still stayed connected and that was because Gopi and Koki connection and for me that is the way GIa and Ruplji portrayed the characters.

This is one of my reasons to stop watching, but there is more.

That more is this forum. I can not come on the forum anymore to enjoy myself or relieve stress because there is no fun left, it is sucked out by people who are determined to attack one another.

I have friends who have moved on and are liking Dev, that is fine because they are more connected to the story or other actors or just watch the show and not really care one way or other.

That is fine, we each have our own views and connections, but to be not able to voice our views can get frustrating and it makes us angry.

I will say that initially I was very angry, and that is because things happened so fast, but then I calmed down. I did not react out of anger and started bashing the new girl, and it may be wrong but lot of our friends reacted out of anger, but then instead of supporting our friends we turned against them and started bashing Gia or Gia fans.

So the come to the point what I am saying is this applies to all of us.

I hope I didn't offend anyone, but I needed to say this.

My motto is to live and let live, but today I had to say something or else I was going to go crazy.

I have made many friends here and learned a lot things and I hate to see this be destroyed because we can't respect each other's views or opinions without bashing each other or the actors.

Thank you so much Sandy. I tried my best to not comment on any thread, but I needed to voice what I am feeling.

I miss Gia, yes, but more than that I miss the fun I used to have here on the forum.

we all equally miss our old forum ... the fun we had together ... alas! all is gone with the wind ... the forum would be so active and now its all dead silent here ... posts come up either bashing each other or the actor to the personal level ... which ends up in closure ...

the forum is under gone a drastic change in just 4weeks, which was unchanged for 2.5years ...

This used to be the most friendliest forum and we considers each other family but now I don't even know what to say or feel.

I will continue to be here for my friends as long as SNS lasts, whether they appreciate Dev or Gia, and if I am no longer watching the show.

Well done S, for finally speaking your mind, wonderfully done..

The forum is as much home to Pro-Giaas, the Pro Devs and the cat on the wallers.. We have a right to it..Everyone is entitled to voice their opinion and have healthy discussions. Any talk or discussion about missing Giaa or reminiscing the good times doesn't call for sarcasm or even mockery. The same applies to Dev.

It takes all kinds of people to make the world...We need find a balance to accept the other groups opinions/views and respect them. A little empathy and restraint will go a long way.. If we do not like or agree with something, we can voice our views. If we do not agree or aren't convinced , lets agree to disagree and leave it at that. We do not have to get on the offensive.

I am here to relax and unwind not to add to my woes. I do not wish to be bashed or picked for speaking my mind or voicing an opinion so long as I know my boundaries. I do not and will not take things to a personal level and expect the same. I do not wish to be lectured or mocked at. I do not wish to be drawn into senseless arguments which have malicious intent.

P.S. - Thank you Sadhli for putting things in perspective.

Well said bhavya. My feelings exactly. Dev dialog delivery sucks and that is a honest truth. I know that some people are ga ga over her acting well good for them. I myself do not think that dev has any expressions on face and her dialog delivery is abysmal. Her face lacks the innocence and she cannot blush at all. There is zero chemistry etween her and nazim on screen. Before her fans come at me with pitchforks those are my honest observations. If they bring a better actress to replace her I will start watching sns again even if it is not Gia. Dev is a complete misfit in the role of gopi.
