What this SP/PH are thinking those watching SNS are very conservative people,low class people,uneducated people.SP/PH are brainless people and most of them watching these serials educated, high society ladies, working class people .All the people knew its a dreamy image character and highly educated guy won't marry a naive at any cost...So, all people addicted to SNS knowing its a fiction and characters are talented actors.Moreover Gia is shown in western dress in sbb/sbs in parties and more viewers admired her for her talent in acting as a naive, doclie ,innocent girl.

As for deferentiating between Gia an Gopi vahu I am not sure about Indian audience on this. I was born in India and raised in USA and may not know any better but I would think people in my country are smart enough to know the difference between a character and a actor. At the same time in some cases we are so technologically advanced but our thinking in some aspect is very backward.

For example I saw SP long add with a song about woman power and how a woman in culture has so many roles, yet they still believe in not letting their actress's participate in a reality dance program.

Sorry for the rant but nothing makes sense anymore.

Shilpa, I believe people in India are much more advanced than we give them credit for or these channels think. Every time I go to India, I am shocked at how progressive they are. My mind is still stuck in the time when I left India, but they have advanced beyond where my mind is.

Even in villages, they are internet savvies and know all about what is going on in the world. It's the channels that are keeping their audience behind the times. Even Bollywood industry has moved with the times. We don't see those patni vrata movies any more that they used to churn out during the 80s. Those movies will be flops now. Why these channels still think the public can't handle seeing the actors in western outfits is beyond me when Bollywood actors are accepted as they are?

I sure hope this is wrong news are a publicity stant!! Because otherwise it is really mean, cruel and pushy!! 😡

Sandy, there are a lot of bugs in this system😆. The more we investigate, the more bugs we find. Either the bugs need to be cleaned or the whole system needs to be rejected and started anew.

Poor thing. So sad and dictatorial. That means actors can't have any freedom? Seems so unfair. Its only a dance show!

And these are my exact thoughts Aris. I know this from my visit three years ago and this is why my mind does not wrap around their flimsy excuse.

Oprah just did segments on our country not long ago and I noticed how many people in India knew her as the famous talk show host in America, even in backward part of the country people were aware of this, so how did they know this? Of course thru TV and so I agree our people are very smart indeed.

I visited the village I was born in and even they had Internet connection so it OS only channels like SP who don't give their audience enough credit.

Yes Aris.. India & people in India are advanced.. May be if they give the same reason before 10yr, could have accepted.. but now people are adjusted to westrn culture though not forgetting traditional values.. it is not only movies, a married couple divorce happily with out a big reason and says we are not comfortable with each other, just frnds.. people are accepting those things..

when it comes to movies or shows. it was long back he is a vilan and hate him.. but now people loving vilan's more than hero& heroines.. the reason they know the difference b/w acting, character, and real life charter..

SP and PH , as shilpa said, they only made to on screen about women power and their influence, They proved it is just an act for trp and business..

agree shilpa, SP is escaped saying everything PH decision to rescue them selves..

hihihi.. Viewers have power to remove bugs.. if we want to change whole system, the real developers i mean actors and actress, technicians should put their step forward..😊
