Superb update.

I half expected Kokila to be on the other side of their door. That was quick thinking from Gopi's part but Kokila could be assuming that all is well with her son and daughter in law. I wonder what would have happened had Ahem, having seen his bedding on the bed, assumed that he was to sleep there and just went got in..

Kokila's conversation in the evening brought about a great amount of trust and new found confidence in Ahem especially with dealing with Anita.

Looking forward to the next update.
