ahem certainly wont tolerate anita interferring this personal in his life...

PART SIX

Ahem approached Gopi, as he wanted to talk her, but there was a knock on their door and Ahem goes to open the door, meanwhile Gopi pretends to arrange Ahem's bedding on the bed along with her. Ahem opens the door and was shocked to see his mom on the door, at this time of night, he welcomed her in and asked her with concern "mom.. what happened?? you at this time?? is everything okay??" "everything is fine, but i wanted to talk to you and Gopi vahu about Anita.." "Anita (pause) what happened to her??" he asked her "nothing happened to her (pause) but i have thought something for her better future and wanted both of yours suggesstion for the same" GoHem look at each other with confusion. Koki tells GoHem about her thoughts of getting Anita married to a responsible person and who be by her through the thick and thin and ups and downs of life. GoHem patiently listen to Koki and after she is done with her explanation, Ahem says "mom, you know it very well. Your decision can never be wrong, till date you havent done anything bad to anyone and can never do (pause) mom i appreciate your decision whole heardetly, please go ahead with it (glances at Gopi) and anyways mom your decisions have always been right and I whole heartedly appreciate and respect them." koki feels proud of her son and places her hand on his head and says "god bless you, dikra (she turns to Gopi) Gopi vahu, what you have to say about this??" Gopi smiles and says "maaji.. whatever Ahemji has said i totally agree with him. Please go ahead with it" KoHem equally feel proud of Gopi. Koki places her hand over Gopi's head and says "I was always right (pause) you're perfect for my dikra (hearing this Ahem's heart fills with pride and Gopi smiles) kanaji.. bless you both." and bidding then a good night, she leaves their room.

Ahem locks their door and approaches Gopi and says "Gopi, i wanted to talk to you about something" "jii.. say" Gopi said. Ahem saw how tired Gopi was, and was still willing to hear him, he couldnt stop thanking his mom for getting Gopi i his life, he said "Gopi, its pretty late (points to the wall clock) I think you should sleep (pats her cheek) we'l talk about it later and anyways, the talk isnt that important as compared to your sleep (eyes her lovingly) Good Night, Gopi" she smiles at him and wishes him back, he finds his bedding missing from the couch and asks "Gopi, my bedding.." "woh.. i thought, it might be Anitaben so i thought of" "its okay, Gopi" he cut her off from explanations and she arranges his bedding on the couch again. Ahem patiently waits for Gopi to settle on the bed and switching off the lights GoHem drift to sleep.

"Ahemjii" "Ahemjii (pause) Ahemjii, please get up, its already 6.30am" Gopi was waking him up, the next day. "What is it Gopi?? why are you troubling me early in the morning?? (turns his back to her) let me sleep (pulls over the blanket over his head)" Ahem said in a playful tone. Gopi smiles at his childish act and unveiling the blanket over his head, she in a requestive tone says "Ahemjii.. please get up.. you dont want to go the office today??" for awhile GoHem were lost in each others eyes. Gopi, feels shy and breaks the trance, giving up Ahem sits on the couch and in a complaining tone says "this is just unfair Gopi. I was having such a sound sleep after so many days and you woke me up" Gopi giggles to his complaint and says "Ahemjii.. you have to go to the office. If wouldnt have woken you up, you'l be running behind your schedule" and opens the curtains to welcome the morning sun in their room, she turns to face him and says "Ahemjii, you get up and freshen up.. till then il get your green tea to the room." Gopi walks to his cupboard and gets out his office clothes, wallet, handkerchief and carefully lays them on the bed and leaves and Ahem he hopelessly keep adoring her and smiles to himself.

After about 30minutes, Ahem walks out of the restroom and meanwhileGopi comes to their room with his green tea and says "Ahemjii, your green tea (pause) after finshing, please come down for the pooja, it'l start soon" Gopi was about to leave, Ahem calls "Gopi (she stops and turns to afce him) what there for the bhoog today?? (teasing tone) sheera??!!" Gopi blushingly smiles and leaves the room. After, having the tea Ahem goes to the temple and the pooja rotuine continues, once all is done Ahem calls her "Gopi (she walks towards him) is the breakfast ready??" "It'l be ready in awhile. (pause) Ahemjii.. are you getting late for the office?? Il ask, mithiben to.." "no Gopi (pause) dont hurry with it.. and am not getting late (pause) I have some pending work, i am going to the room to get it done (pause) once the breakfast is ready, come and call me " saying this, Ahem cuts her off and gopi smiles at him nodding a yes and they leave the temple, Gopi goes to the kitchen and he goes to their room.

After about 15mints, Gopi goes to their room to call Ahem for the breakfast, but she is surprised to see Ahem's white shirt and black blazer lying on the bed, she heard the restroom door and turned to question him, but Gopi was lost seeing Ahem in the turquoise blue shirt, which she had gifted him on his birthday. Gopi questions him "Ahemjii.. why did you change the shirt??" "because, since my birthday i am liking to wear vibrant colours and to be precise until that day I never knew, they would look good on me" he ans's her, hearing this Gopi blushes and says "Ahemjii the breakfast is ready.. lets go" and GoHem leave their room.

At the breakfast table, Jigar never left an oppourtunity of teasing GoHem and Baa to contributed, which left GoHem with no option apart from blushing and feeling embrassed. Baa realised that, GoHem were having a real tough time with the teasing and to change the topic she questions Rashi "Rashui beta, where is Anita?? she dint come to the pooja and as well for the breakfast" "baa, i had gone to her call, but sha said that she was having a headache and wanted to rest" rashi ans'd "theeck che" baa agreed. Ahem got a call from one of his client and went to his room to discuss the issue and once it was sorted out, Ahem took his lappy bag and left their room.

On the passage, Ahem bumped into Anita accidentally and said "sorry Anita" she faintly smiled to him. Ahem studied some worry written on Anita's face and asked "what happened, Anita?? are you ok?? .. i mean.. you didnt turn up for the breakfast??" "woh... actuallyyy.." she tried to ans him, "Anita, you look worried, what happened??" "Ahem.. i wanted to talk to you (pause) but you must be getting late to the office" she said, "not really Anita (pause) tell me" "Ahem, your mom is going to call a pandit who has some marriage proposals for me" Anita said "yes, i know about it. Mom told me about the same last night." he said "Ahem.. actually am really not much interested in meeting anyone so soon.. i mean, its been just few days (tears brim her eyes) since i have got to know that my wedding with Nilesh has been called off. I dont want to go through the same trauma again.. i need some time to move on over Nilesh, its not going to be that easy Ahem, to leave my past behind.. i dont want to meet any guy" Anita said, "Anita, if you dont want to meet tyhe guy, go and tell mom your issue (pause) am very sure she'l understand the same" he said "No Ahem, i cant do this (pause) your family and especially your mom has done so much for me. I cant let them down at any cost.. i cant, Ahem.. (pause) I really cant understand what should i do... Ahem, you suggest me something, after all noone understands you better then your friend.. please suggest something." Anita, hoped that Ahem would tell her that, he'l talk to his mom and will bail her out of the marriage ficaso, but Ahem said "Anita, i understand its not that easy to move on over your past (pause) but Anita my mom will never think bad for anyone. my mom told you that, the final decision will be yours, so blindly trust her, shel abide by whatever she says and you wont be forced into any marriage (pause) the way mom has got the best better half of me (Anita looks at him with shock and surprise), am pretty sure, she'l select the best groom for you (he looks at his wrist watch) Anita, am running late, il leave now.. bye" he left immediately without hearing her bye too. Anita was all shocked and surprised that, her plan backfired and Ahem asked to her ahead with marriage thing. But, she thought of another trick and went up to the breakfast table and announced that, she was okay with the pandit being called with the marriage proposal. Everyone, were happy hearing her decision and Koki called the pandit and opted for Arvind, Anita too agreed to meet him and his family and with this Arvind and his family were coming to meet the Modis and Anita the next day.
