Ahem decided to test Gopi, he hid the fact that he knew about her betrayal.

he quizzed Gopi about Haridwar( pretending it to be a casual chat)..Gopi came up with the answers and Ahem started to wonder to what extent can Gopi stoop.

He locked the room and went through Gopi's luggage but he couldn't find any incriminating evidence. Ahem was powered by an all consuming desire to find out the truth. Who was the man? how did she know him? From the way she was behaving with him it was very clear that they were on friendly terms...arrgh... That man had put his hand over her shoulder...and she was kneeling on him.

Ahem knew for certain that his marriage is on rocks, but he couldn't stop his heart from loving Gopi...Nothing could remove passion from his blood. He wanted to hold her in his arms...he wanted to rest his head on her lap..his lips were dying to kiss her...his body yearned for intimacy.

Ahem wanted to kill his rival and wipe off his trace from the earth, he clenched his fist in anger. He was curious to know whether Gopi loves that guy and whether they had crossed the line...he wanted to test her as well as satiate his inner desires...and the only way he thought of was to make advances towards her- if she co-operates then it means that she still loves him and if she fends off his advances then it would indicate that she is in love with the other guy.The time and venue for the test was set. It was to be conducted today in his room.

Ahem waited till Gopi entered his room at night, he caught Gopi by surprise and went ahead to plant a kiss on her cheeks. Gopi was shocked by the sudden development and took a few steps backwards.

sorry for small updates.it is because I can elaborate only one thing at a time.

Part 4

Ahem grabbed Gopi and she felt the stench of alcohol, his eyes were red and he looked liked an animal filled with rage. He forced himself on her.

Gopi was left emotionally and physically hurt, as much as she loved Ahemji she didn't expect that he had this beastly side to him. How could he hit her so mercilessly and force her into submission? She would have given it all to him had he asked with love.

Gopi went to bathroom to bathe and change into a new saree, the old one was torn during the ordeal. Her body had marks on them - a reminder of the night. She sobbed silently? Why was Ahemji so angry at her? why did he call her unfaithful? Why did he rape her? Marital rape is rape too.

Ahem left the bedroom early in the morning, he could believe what he had done last night in jealous rage filled with alcohol. He couldn't believe that he could stoop so low... he went in a denial mode. He avoided Gopi because he was too proud to apologise.

Gopi meanwhile pretended as if nothing went wrong, she didn't want the family to know what had happened. She didn't know how to tell them - She would regret the decision soon.

Time passed but Gopi's fear remained with her, Ahem had plundered her in rage and not out of love. He neither loved her then nor does he love her now. They had spoken very little since that night and Ahem was now more hostile than ever.

Gopi underwent all the pain that a victim normally does. The only saving grace she could think of was that she would not face social stigma as it happened within wedlock - Gopi could not have been more wrong.
