Why is SNS the no. 1 show?

I am not a fan of the show and I know most of the forum will come out to bash me. But I really want to try and understand why this show is no. 1? Why are you guys fans of this show. There have been instances in the past when I have understood why a show is no. 1 even though I did not like it myself. But here I completely fail to understand. This show is an extremely regressive one; the main female protagonist isn't strong; the lead pair isn't sizzling hot and most importantly the show never moves forward. Its exactly what it was months back. Please explain if you have reasons for liking the show and bash otherwise

The love chemistry between Gohem n Raji feels us as if its a real life.The story is is going step by step n also in real life we also develop feeling for someone slowly and not in one stroke

You have to watch the show consistently to realize why the show is number one. Yes we have had some really horrible tracks. I myself watch it for Gopi and Koki relationship. I like the fact that Gopi, even though not strong, but still manages to win everyone over, even her khdoos husband. Its a simple story of a simple girl. It just works.

its a saas bahu saga which has an intriguing script which i havent seen before
an illiterate woman marrying a rich guy while knowing he loved another girl but failed to understand the kalakaris happening around her...
Although i only watch it for koki, aham rashi and jigar. I feel that they stand out more.

it has a perfect time slot 7pm where families gather around and watch it, as its a family show this is the main highlight why its no 1 show as trp is no 1

How can u say aham not hot? 😔 he only a new comer. he needs a chance to show himself as well as the casts as they are new in the industry.. They need time to show their magic and show what they can do and cannot do

i would agree with shilpa even through gopi isnt strong enough she does manage to win everyones heart because of her goodness, and its a unique show

u need to watch it every day to know why the show is no 1

also i must add this aham who is a khadoos hubby who fails to understand his wife, because he loved a girl anita as he seems that u can only love once

but after coming through many trials and traumas happening in the serial he began to feel for her, etc unknowningly he doesnt know he loves her

sometimes, the track is boring...but somehow the show can bring us all kinds of emotion...the story made us cry, laugh, smile, blush, angry, jealous sometimes.

it's simply amazing. Both couples have really good chemistry for my taste.

the story is simple, that is why it is no 1. why do you think of all the books published harry potter created a rage. the same thing an orphans search for love.
gopi's search for love is worth the watch.
yes there were times when i left the show and the forum. still it brought me back, becasue i love goham.
it is the love bet koki and gopi
gopi may not be strong, still she has lots of positivity. she puts others happiness infront of others.
for the sizzling chemistry, you cant expect a 7 p m show to present more than this. this is a family entertainer.

I like the old fashioned storyline, it's because where I live it's in the UK right, and when I step out the door I'm hit by modern living day in day out, Saathiya takes me back to how it was, so though you've criticised it as regressive, it's refreshing for me, because I'm sick of living in the modern era...😳

Yes I agree that Gopi is innocent and chold like. But dont you think the fact that she has to face so many trials quietly without speaking up aganst people who wrong her.. all this sends across a wrong message to people especially young impressionable people. To be caring kind sweet is one thing but to be servile and subservient is another. Do you really think its good to glorify someone who stays quiet and takes all the shit that comes her way. And why should it be shown that Gopi reveres Ahem despite the fact that he has treated her like garbage.. This promotes women to be weak, all-forgiving characters...

A man who has ever ill-treated his wife.. for whatever reasons.. should not be called the hero of the story... this show romanticizes ill treatment...
