Respect your opinion. But I would not agree that Gopi is dumb.. She has an unfathomable belief in humans. She looks at people and judges them the same way she looks at herself. She has been abused from an young age and she is afraid of her Maami. She loves her Raashi ben because Raashi has always projected herself as a sister who cares for her. Hence she cannot bring herself to think wrongly about Raashi. Even when she finds Raashi at fault, she accepts it as a character flaw in Raashi.
You do not hate or dislike somebody for their faults. Love is to accept them with their mistakes. Gopi does just that. To the extreme yes. But that is who she is. She is an orphan and her Maami and her Raashi ben are the only family she knows other then her Maama. Why would she think her Maami is evil?

There are innumerable people who are illiterate and have been abused by their relatives- yet are smart enough to judge them and side step from being made a fool of when they have grown up enough to realise they are being utilised- but not Gopi- the unfortunate thing is that CVs are determined to portray an unrealistic version here- no one would be so thick skinned as not to realise when they are being made a fool of, especially when they have been illtreated by them. They become very cautious of those people when they turn into adults. Sadly, Gopi is projected as lacking critical thinking skills and ultimately incapable of judging people and this is expressed through Koki's frustration.

oii dont bash asr. ya he ruthless and arogant same as maan, as well as this show aham

no matter ppl say that he should be called the hero, but he is the hero of the show. he has that potential in him that makes him the hero. he is there to be rescue to someone. He has rescued gopi in the past which we shouldnt forget, and what about kinjal track too he rescued her.

anyway... am not bashing anyone . chika and who ever it is, we should never compare any character to anyone else, as every character has the same thing such as arrogance but different story

sorry i cannot answer ur question even though i know the answer, i cannot put it to straight words @topic maker

I agree with you chika784 and AdaaNazArshi. Furthermore, SNS is not some movie where the hero is the best throughout the duration of the film. We as an audience need to understand how Ahem's character develops and eventually become's Gopi's backbone. He does deserve a chance.

Just because Gopi doesn't fit into YOUR ideal of how an orphan should react is neither here nor there.
The character of Gopi is such that she will turn the other cheek, put down people's bad acts as human weakness, forgive them for it, and CONTINUE to give them love. She can't even bear to hit the kidnappers! That's how she is - and a lot of us think that's terrific of her. We can't do it, but we salute her for being able to!

I love this show because it has a simple storyline yet it holds so much meaning. You say Gopi isn't strong but in most serials the main protagonist isn't all that strong. There have only been a few shows where the main female lead was strong. Besides, this poor girl has always craved a loving family and now a loving husband and she tries her best to be their best in however way she can. Her passivity and innocence might be too much for you but you really have to understand where she is coming from in order to appreciate what she truly is. Gopi has a heart of gold.

You further mention this serial lacking sizzling chemistry? Well besides the fact that it is your opinion, i would like to say that I guess you are not watching much of this show at all or watching closely enough because Gopi and Ahem share great chemistry. There is just something about them that keeps drawing me back to this show. The facial expressions and interactions are just mind blowing.

Lastly, the story doesn't move forward and sometimes it can get a little frustrating but after watching this show I appreciate that it doesn't move forward at a rapid pace. Someone mentioned that it comes close to portraying real life in terms of the pace and I believe that.

I applaud the CVs for giving a new cast a shot at this and I am glad it is where it is today. 😊

No offence or anything, but having said my take on the show, need I say more to make you understand?
