Jignesh heard the news of Aham's death from the obituaries section as he had been laying low for a long time now...and he started investigating the death further, he came to the conclusion that it was now or never to put his plan into motion, all he needed to do is pretend he took a later flight out from Switzerland to India but how to do that especially as the flight company have Aham's information that he boarded the earlier flight...he decided to fly to Switzerland as Jignesh Saksena and report to the Indian Embassy in Switzerland the theft of his passport, travellers cheques, credit cards everything...in Switzerland and that he required a replacement...he then telephoned the flight company from there to explain to them that he had not boarded the flight at all and that he was stranded in Switzerland...the embassy informed the Modi's of their good fortune, they son was not lost, but was alive and well. Chirag Khaka immediately wired funds for Aham to use in Switzerland whilst the passport came through to him. Everyone at the house was elated, Kokila and Gopi were hugging each other as if they won the lottery...😛

When the money came through Jignesh checked into a hotel and immediately rang Priya (Aham's secretary) to find out what work was pending, to not do so would be out of character of Aham, and he needed to keep everyone thinking he was Aham. Priya informed him about his diary commitments and transferred his call to close associates in the company that were overseeing the various building contracts, he checked on progress with them and clicked off, he then placed a call to his Khaka Chirag to inform him the money had come through and asked him if all the work was in hand and if he could work on anything whilst he was waiting for his passport, Chirag gave him the details and he clicked off. Once the work side was sorted, (he knew from Priya that Aham was extremely close to his Mom and again it would be out of character if he didn't speak to her) he placed a call to the house to speak to his Mother Kokila Modi and to his wife Gopi Modi.

Jai Shree Krishna Mom, Jai Shree Krishna my dear son, how are you, I'm okay Mom, Where have you been, you didn't call all these days, we received a report that you were dead...I'm fine Mom I'm sorry to have caused you to worry about me, I arrived at the airport and my wallet and briefcase were snatched and could not travel back on the flight, I have been trying to find my way to Zurich where the embassy is from the small resort town we were staying and it took a few days for me to hitch-hike (😆) with no access to funds...I understand my son, I'm just glad you were alright. Mom may I speak to my wife Gopi? What? (Jignesh for a minute thought he got the name incorrectly...Kokila then said Yes, and called Gopi Vau and went into the kitchen to give the phone to Gopi. Gopi said Jai Shree Krishna, Jai Shree Krishna Gopi, you are alright? You weren't too worried about me? Gopi is in shock...Ji,...Jignesh says...don't worry I'm coming home soon, I'm safe...Gopi could only say...Ji...she couldn't believe AhamJi asked to speak to her and that he was speaking to her in this kindly manner...Ok I should be arriving in 2 days time as the passport arrives tomorrow...Ji (By this time Jignesh was wondering is something wrong with her, but he put it down to shock on hearing he was alive and not dead, and thought she will be more herself when he got to the house)...Ok darling see you in 2 days...silence...Jai Shree Krishna...Jai Shree Krishna.

Gopi handed the phone to Maji who was smiling, but Gopi had a perplexed look on her face, Kokila asked her whats the matter, she answered nothing, Kokila left her and went to tell everyone in the house the news Aham was coming home in 2 days.

Jignesh came back to India and was welcomed at the airport by his Mom, Khaka, Khaki and Jigar and grasped warmly in a hug by everyone and they all drove to the MM, Khaka told him Aham I know how you are you are desperate to get your laptop and cell phone with you, so I have bought all you will require and left it in your room, you will work from home tomorrow so the family can spoil you a little bit and see if you are well enough after your ordeal to leave us and written to the office, Jignesh said Khaka I'm well don't worry, nonsense said Chirag it's only one day, thereafter you can come to the office as normal.

The arrived home to a welcome by two women...Jignesh (panicking which one is the wife...😆) They both greeted him and his mother took the Thali from one of the women and did the pooja and he entered the house, he wanted to look around at the splendour of the Modi's wealth but stopped himself, telling them he was tired and needed to go up get refreshed have a quick bite to eat and get to work (he knew from Priya that Aham was a workaholic) and he wanted in the opening few days, weeks not to be too close to all the family but stay working upstairs whilst he got his bearings with the business then he could work on the family side of things. However for him to go upstairs he needed to know where his room was, so he looked intently at the two younger women again and spoke "Gopi will you come with me", he saw a reaction from both the women (both seemed shocked initially, then the other smiled a small smile and glanced at his Mom, the other one frowned something fierce...😆) the happier of the women stepped forward and began walking towards the stairs leading to the top floor and he followed at the slow pace she set.

In the room he stepped in after her and turned to bolt the door and checked if it was secure, as he didn't want to be overheard as he spoke to Aham's wife, in-case he alarms her in some way he wanted to have a chance to talk her back into believing she was sharing a room with Aham not a stranger. Gopi turned to glance at him then half turned to the side and looked down at her feet, in a very submissive way, Jignesh wondered what's going on with her, so he grasped her hand and she quickly looked at him, he said is something the matter, you don't look happy to see me, come lets go over to the sofa's. Gopi couldn't believe how changed her Ahamji was that he wanted to hold her hand, speak to her and was concerned when she was unhappy. Jignesh asked Gopi so what's been happening whilst I have been away? Nothing...(he sensed some reluctance in her, perhaps Aham and her were not very close and were not confiding in each other what was bothering them, but he wanted a different relationship with Gopi...he wanted her speaking to him like he was her best friend, after all when he had the full knowledge of the running of the business, he would need to conquer the house too and who best to help him do that then his own wife)...Jignesh said...Come on you can tell me, you broke something...nahi...something of mine perhaps...nahi Ahamji i've learned that I should not touch your stuff and I know nothing about them...I would never wash your laptop again, please check it Khaka brought it here I have not touched it...kasam 😆, okay okay, then what's bothering you...has my mother been very hard on you? You look tired has she been giving you too much work around the house...nahin whatever work I get I love to do as at least I'm not idle in the house, I like to be useful. Very well I will just go and freshen up now but don't go far...Ji (nods her head). Why don't you rest for a little while darling I won't be long.

Jignesh takes a Kurta...looks at it for a while - thinking this is a dead man's clothes, can I wear it, what I'm I thinking, I was just cosying up to his wife a little while ago...you didn't kill Aham Jignesh, at least the family think their son is alive and are not grief stricken anymore...

Aham arrived at the airport boarded the flight with no difficulties, soon after take off the flight hit some turbulence, it was storming and lighting was going off all over the plane, women and babies were voicing their fears and screaming, all the men were pursing their lips and glancing at the safety information and glancing out the windows...🤣, the seatbelt sign stayed on and all passengers were advised to stay in their seats then all of a sudden one of the engines was struck by lightning, which affected the electrical system of the plane, the pilot was notifying the passengers not to panic as the flight crew were on the plane to look after them (Yeh right...Aham thought...in circumstances such as these it's survival of the fittest), the pilot was struggling to manage the electronics on the plane and thank god they came back on but only temporary lights came on along the aisles and exits, all of a sudden he noticed the weather was getting much worse and the one engine also was developing a problem, Aham had been looking at it hoping it would hold up until the pilot could land the plane but it was not to be, he noticed the oxygen musks came down all the passengers put them on, Aham didn't want to waste time with that, if he was dying he would rather it just happen without too much hysterics 😆 then he noticed something odd, whilst all the passengers were busying themselves praying, putting on gas masks, the pilot he noticed had come out of the cockpit and was heading towards the exit, Aham unbuckled his seat belt and followed him (he guessed the pilot and put the plane on autopilot and was planning an escape as he had brought the plane low enough for him to use his parachute). The pilot put the parachute on and was about to grasp the exit door handle to yank it open to escape, Aham jumped him start punching him hit him in the teeth and he lost concious...Aham grabbed the parachute and put it on, he looked back and so a little child crying (he thought to himself I can't take everybody with me but I can take this one child and save him life poor thing has not even lived), so he grabbed him and held him against his chest, he opened the exit door and didn't look back those he was living to such an unfortunate end and jumped...thank god the parachute opened and seemed to be gliding him to the ground safely, however his passenger was screaming for his family 😭, he controlled his kicking as much as possible and glided them both down to safety. As he was coming down he noticed a small habitat due north.

Aham's immediate concern was the cold he was dressed warmly enough, but the child was not, he walked faster. He arrived the following day at the habitat, his passenger had long since cried himself to sleep. He knocked on the door, a tall big brawny man came to the door and spoke to him in English he explained to him what happened and the man said, I can't offer you much I survive by hunting and have no modern conveniences, Aham said some warm clothing, a hot drink and some shelter for the night would be very much appreciated. The good Samaritan welcomed him in into his humble home. Gave him a blanket and told him he didn't have anything to fit the youngster but he had some shirts that would do Aham fine. The man informed Aham that he liked the solitude and didn't like the bustle of modern life. But they was a village a few miles from there where he could buy some clothing for child.
