Kokila is rushed to the small village hospital in Rajkot by Hetal as Chirag was at work, Modi industries wasn't as big as it is now, and Chirag needs to work really hard to make sure each construction contract does not fail and all work is completed to targets, it was in the afternoon, Hetal was panicking and worried as the hospital staff have told her they will not attend to Kokila without Hetal first bringing the funds, then they will admit her...by this time Kokila is screaming her head off and the sound is like a siren when a nuclear explosion has gone off. 😆 (By the way Parag has travelled singing songs and reciting poems for party goers in far flung places...lol).
The hospital staff relent and tell Hetal to go find the money somehow and they will attend to her sister-in-law. Kokila is put on a bed and wheeled into the delivery room the midwife is ready and instructs her how to conduct herself...😆 (no screaming so much, concentrate on breathing, Kokila tries to follow the instructions but as it was her first delivery, it was hard to control herself). As Hetal had struggled to get her to the hospital and the contractions were near.
Eventually she gave birth to 2 sons, identical twins, but the pain was so much she was oblivious (with no family members around) the midwife looking at the children remembered her inability to conceive and thought this was the opportunity to grab a child and walk off into the sunset and into motherhood 😆, she picked the heavier, healthy looking one which was born first and wrapped in in a blanket and went off with it...😛 A nurse walked into the delivery room and found the one baby and Kokila, she cleaned up the mess and by that time Kokila was slightly coming to her senses and handed the baby to it's mother, Kokila though oblivious was feeling something was not right she heard two screams, two babies' crying, she turned to the nurse, where is my baby, the nurse said here, she said my other baby, the nurse said, this is your baby look at him watching you with his eyes...this is your first look at your baby, Kokila looked at her munna and fell in love with him...Kokila became extremely protective of her son who she names Aham (Ego), she watched him as you would a hawk and nursed him, fed him and taught him everything he has come to be today...Meanwhile the other son stolen by the midwife (Mamta Saksena) was named Jignesh (Number 3 of Saathiya... 🤣), she took the baby to her husband to tell him look what I have brought from the hospital, our own baby...the hospital worker (her husband Rajeev Saksena), looked at the baby and got scared, baby theft was a prosecuting offence, he didn't want to get imprisoned because his wife couldn't conceive and stole a baby from her workplace and he took off in the night like a thief from his own house😛.
Mamta (meaning mother's love) woke up in the morning and saw her husband had forsaken her with the responsibility to raise the child on her own. She was thinking what do I tell my neighbours, this is a close knit community they would not accept a single mother...she thought never mind people knew I had a husband for many years, I will tell them a fabricated story that Rajeev has joined the army and is protecting the bordor...lol, he is sending me money to look after my little baby. Mamta needed money desparately so she sort work in the main hospital as a midwife on a double shift basis worked really hard to pay for the living costs for both she and her son.
26 years Later
Meanwhile Aham grew up to be a strapping young man and the pride of the family, he went to the best schools no public school for him, only the best private schools that money could buy (as he was the first born child in the family the Modi's made sure he had the best of everything). Kokila was getting restless, since Aham returned from doing his masters at University he carried on working in the family construction business, which was fine to begin with however a time was going her son had no other interests other than working, but he was an extremely dutiful son to her. Kokila raised him to have no concerns about home life, as she was there to make sure it all went smoothly and he should concentrate in making the Modi Industries successful with his ideas he had developed recently whilst studying for his MBA...😉 Kokila thought Aham's life would be better complete if he got married now, as Aham would be turning 27 next year and she felt she was doing a de-service to her son to keep him to herself all this time and not find him a life partner. She went looking with the help of a punditji and fortunately quite by accident found exactly the right bahu for her and got Aham married to Gopi. However the marriage was not going well, Aham had refused to accept Gopi and it was nearly a year since the marriage but Aham had no intention of accepting her pyari bahu Gopi.
Jignesh (Aham's older brother by 2 minutes...😆) had no two coins to rub together, they were extremely poor, he went to public school, but he was extremely bright, intelligent and loved to make everyone at ease, happy with the jokes he constantly cracked, it was hard for Jignesh to not be thinking of some joke or the other to tell his friends and make everyone laugh. So the two brother's personalities were very different in that respect, however as they were identical on all other respects including body shape (that's right the muscles are still on him girls😛). Jignesh was taking interest in the business world for the last year as he was thinking of some schemes to bring him and his mother out of poverty, so he was turning to the business newspapers, in there he came across a newspaper picture of Aham Modi (Same picture Panna gave to Gopi which she keeps in her cupboard) who had recently been in the paper promoting his company Modi industries, for the last year (whilst Aham has been married to Gopi) Jignesh has been researching Aham Modi, his working patterns, how he behaves (outside the house...) to work associates and clients, Jignesh bought some books on the construction business and was studying them, but it wasn't enough, because of his face (being so close to Aham's) he couldn't go and seek work from the company to learn more, but he still needed an inside source into the company. Jignesh went to a barbers and had his hair cut like Aham Modi and chose clothes that he had seen Aham wear. He decided to hang out at the luncheon points close to the company to meet employees, and he was in luck the first day of him trying, he walked in dressed as Aham would in a business suit (he chose a black suit, no tie shirt open necked) and came face to face with Aham's secretary Priya...she said Sir did you want something...(Jignesh was thinking fantastic it's worked...he tramped down on his excitement and said)...no I was hoping we could have lunch together...and that started Jignesh's relationship with Priya, he acted like he was Aham with her...it was hard to see what suit Aham was wearing on the day and match his clothes to that but he managed it and met Priya after work mostly and bought her a cool drink and asked her lots of questions of what was happening in the company and told her that he liked spending time with her out of work but in the workplace she was to stick strictly to business and not be familiar with him...Priya was in love with Aham already and didn't let slip once to the real Aham that they had discussed work in the evening after work. In Jignesh's mind he was thinking 2 weeks tops he would question Priya and make his move on Aham to take over the position of head of Modi Industries (he had done research for a year)...but he had no love for Priya...and made sure to inform her on the first day and several times after that that their conversations were just so he was up-to-date with his schedule and that he had no intention of pursuing a relationship with her.
