Part 25

It is early morning, day morning after GoHam first night, Ahem has been awake for a while now watchin his wife sleeping. He felt happy and at peace. Gopi's head is on his chest, he has one arm under his head and other around her absently running un and down her back. He was thinking about how much time he wasted not accepting her, they could have been happy if only he had sat down and talked to her. But he promised himself from now on there will be no more misunderstanding between them.

He looks down at her and thinks, she is so beautiful, and he was so luck that she was able to forgive him. He coluldn't wait anymore, he slowly leans down and kisses her eyes, then her cheeks, he turns her on her back and kisses her lips and moves down to her neck.

Gopi is slowly waking up thinking what a wonderful dream, she didn't want to wake up, thinking she is still dreaming she puts her arms around him and says his name, Ahemji, he chuckles and her eyes fly open, he is looking down at her with a naughty smile on his face.

Then he slowly leans down and starts to kiss her passionately, he moves down to her neck and starts kissing her, scene once again fades out.

An hour later, Gopi comes out of the bathroom with wet hair and looks over at the bed, he is sitting up watching her, she goes over to him and sits on the bed and says, you need to get up and get ready so I can clean up in here before someone comes looking for us.

He pulls her down on his chest and says, and what if I say I don't want to leave this room today.

Gopi flushes and tries to get up, but he wouldn't let her, she says to him how would it look if we didn't go down all day.

No one would dare disturb us today, we are newly married, Gopi once again reasons with him and says to him, that is not right, beside I have to go help Maji with lists for Kinjlebens wedding and you have to go to work. Ahem sighs and says you are right, but after this wedding we are going to go away from all this, just the two of us, so no one can distrub us.

Gopi says ok, but for now please get up and get ready, you have to come down for the arti, he is not listening to her just watching her lips move, she stops talking when she notices where he is looking and get up and moves, he tries to catch her but she moves away quickly, he jumps out of bed and catches her from behind at the dresser.

He says to her, do we really have to go, she says yes we do, he says ok, but I want my good morning kiss, she turns in his arms and stands on her toes to give him a kiss on the cheek, but when she is close he turns and the kiss lands on his lips, she moves back surprised and flushes, he gives her a big smile and lets her go, he goes to the bathroom to shower.

She watches him until the door closes and just shakes her head and finishes getting ready. She quickly picks up their clothes from the floor from the night before, removes all the rose petals and candles and puts them in the basket in the corner, she then makes the bed.

When she is finished, Ahem comes out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist, she avoids looking at him, he is watching her from the corner of his eyes, goes to his cubbard and pulls out a black suit and a navy blue stiped shirt. She turns her back on him and finish cleaning the room, when she turns again he was buttoning his shirt and tucking it in, she picks up his jacket and holds it out for him to put on when he is finished he looks at her and says you forgot something, she looks at him confused.

He takes her over to the mirror and show she hadn't yet put sindoor in her part, she was reaching for it when he takes it from her and puts the sidoor in her part himself.

They both smile at eachother and go down for pooja together.

The whole family is in the mandir waiting for them to arrive, when they come down they all look at them with knowing smiles, except for Kinjle and Rashi, who was still unaware of the changed relationship between GoHam, because she is too busy planning in her head.

She comes out of her stupor when Koki and GoHam to do the Arti, that's when she notices Ahem was giving Gopi a smile and she was smiling back and flushing. Rashi frowning and thinking what happened here, she has to let her mom know ASAP.

After the Arti everyone goes to breakfast, Ahem hardly eating, because he was too busy trying to catch Gopi's eye, everyone watching them, Jigar finally says, Bhai since your not hungry today, we should leave for office early. Ahem looks up and sees everyone watching him, and flushes and turns his attention to breakfast thinking, I can't even flirt with my wife with all this people.

After breakfast, Ahem goes back to his room to get his laptop, and calls for Gopi for his hankerchief. She goes to their room knowing he wasn't calling for that, when she comes in the room, he quickly closes the door and starts kissing her, after a while he pulls back and says that should get me thru the day, winks at her and starts to leave, she stops him and says wait, she takes his hankerchiet out of his pocket and wipes his lips, and says now you can go. He smiles at her and leaves.
