Part 19

Next morning Gopi comes in to bring Ahem his tea while he is getting ready, he goes over and closes the door. Gopi notices this and says Ahemji, I have to go do some work and you are being very naughty. He goes over to her and takes her in his arms and says you didn't thank me for your gift last night. Gopi puts are arms around him and hugs him and says Thank you (in hindi, don't know the translation). He then says to her just a hug? No, I know you can do better than that. Gopi flushes, because she knows exactly what he wants. She lifts up and kisses his right cheek, he points to the left cheek, she give him a kiss on the left cheek, he then points to his lips, she tries to turn but he holds her tighter and waits to see what she would do. She finally lifts up and puts her lips on his, Ahem quickly takes over the control of the kiss and lift her up higher and brings her closer to his chest, her feet are off the floor. The kiss lasts for few minutes, they finally stop and he slowly set her down and holds on to her, when his breathing is normal, he says to her Thank You!

He then says to her I know in two days its your birthday, she says how do you know? He just smiles and says I just know. He got Shruti and Rahul to help him plan a big surprise for her. He says to Gopi, I won't be here for your birthday, I have to go out on a urgent business, so what do you want me to bring you back? Gopi is disappointed he was not going to be there for her birthday, but she knows business is important, so she says she doesn't want anything but for him to come back soon.

Gopi is unaware that Ahem plans for her to join him on the day before her birthday. He had made all the arrangements, he included the whole family in his plan. He says to her I will miss you so much, please take care of yourself.

Gopi packs his bag for him, then they go down for breakfast, Ahem says bye to everyone, he will be leaving straight from the office. As he is leaving he looks at Gopi one last time and winks at her, goes over to her and whispers softly, I love you sweetheart, take care of yourself, he then leaves.

Shruti watching Gopi's sad face goes over to her and says, don't worry I have big things planned for your birthday. Koki hearing this goes over to her and says don't worry we will celebrate your BD when Ahem returns. I want you to accompany Shruti to mumbai with Rahul to visit his mom's family. Gopi is happy to hear she will be spending her birthday with her friend. Koki and Shruti smiles secretly.

That same evening Rahul, Shruti and Gopi flies to Mumbai. Ahem is already there to finalize Gopi's surprise

Next day Shruti and Gopi go shopping while Rahul goes to visit Ahem and to make sure all the arrangements are complete. When Rahul returns he brings back the gift that Ahem sent for Gopi. He had told shruti he would be sending something for Gopi to wear that night for dinner, but he wanted Gopi to think it was from Shruti.
